"We have been dreaming about a new kitchen for a long time.  We pass by the Champion Kitchen showroom often during our routine errands. Doing some research we found positive comments so I stopped by to see the showroom.  Steve spent a lot of time talking to me that day and we decided to have him come to the house to give us an estimate.  He stopped by that week and had a couple of designs ready within a week. We had talked to another company but we liked Steve?s design, cabinet choices, plan for work and price.  We even expanded our project to include hardwood floors throughout our main floor, a powder room remodel and ceramic tile installation in our utility room.  Steve coordinated everything (with the exception of backsplash installation). He gave us a schedule and stuck to it. When delivery of the hardwood flooring threatened to delay the project he found another supplier.  Steve and his
crew arrived promptly and did everything he said he would, everything we asked and more.  We were impressed that instead of destroying the old (and I mean old) cabinets, he carefully removed them and arranged for them to be recycled.  When we removed wallpaper so that we could repaint the powder room and found some water damage in the dry wall, he fixed it. He recommended a local appliance store and coordinated delivery and installation of all the appliances. Because the hardwood floor installation was such a big job he brought in another craftsman to do that installation which kept the project moving. We are delighted with everything about our new kitchen, powder room and floors.  Steve and his crew are skilled craftsmen and we would recommend Champion Kitchens to
anyone.  In fact, we have already talked to him about another project."

"I am a landlord and property manager. Avalon Tub refinished two tubs for me: one in 2009, one in 2011. Before scheduling another tub, I went to see the previous ones to see how they had survived. One had two tiny nicks on the floor of the tub, the second had a small blister where the tenant kept a sponge to clean the tub. When I called to schedule the new job, extremely pleased with the way the five and seven year old tubs had looked, the owner agreed to touch up the tiny wear marks when the new job was done. I fully expected to pay for his time so many years later. Time constraints on the day of the new tub refinishing prevented us doing the touch-ups. He set a date the following week, came when he said he would, called a day in advance to verify and even reminded me to notify the tenants! He refused payment for the touch-ups, despite making another trip to do them. I am also a general contractor and don't recall ever offering a seven year guarantee on my work. I was astounded and impressed. He was more conscientious about keeping me informed of his arrival time than anyone I've worked with in years. Can't recommend him more highly."
