"Scott rebuilt my kitchen. Not only did he install all of my appliances, he also built me a breakfast nook. Tiles are flushed together making the surfaces smooth and easy to clean. He communicated with me through each process of renovations and addressed all of my concerns. He also built a drainage system through my yard and both at the top and bottom of my driveway to prevent flooding. If I ever had a question, he always had an answer."

"Hired this business to remodel my back yard deck, and couldn’t be happier with the overall result. They came on time, gave me multiple options, and price points got my project, and did excellent work at a great price. I will definitely be contacting them for future projects at my home"

"This was a very pleasant and smooth experience. We needed some small repairs to our patio. The price quoted was very fair, and the crew was professional, diligent and courteous. Definitely will recommend."

"Steve was excellent to work with.  We met with Steve's company and two other companies for estimates.  We were most impressed with Steve.  He was very personable and realistic.  He wasn't a salesman with smoke and mirrors.  We hired him and were glad we did. He did everything from going to the stores with my wife to get the right materials, to having a key to our house until the work was done.  Every day I saw progress, he had good communication, and we are very pleased with the end result."

"See above.  Other than being misled by the offer, ie-not realizing that the reason for the appraisal was to obtain a mortgage only, I have no way to rate this service.  Please note, we did not use this service and have nothing negative or positive to say about this company.  Angie's List ought to have an Overall Rating for NA, like they do for the specifics.

"Day 1 of hiring Peter I knew I made the right decision. He was responsive and very helpful in navigating what I would need to help complete the project. He provided recommendations for vendors and worked alongside me as a partner in completing our job. He communicated well and made it easy for me to understand when problems arose. Both Peter and Bob made great suggestions while they were completing the work- I felt like I was truly a part of the design process. We love our new bathroom and have received so many compliments on the work. Not to mention my two year old daughter regularly walks into the new bathroom and says “Peter Bob did this”, points and smiles. I am looking forward to working with Peter again for future projects in my home."

"ASC did a very professional job in a reasonable time period. In addition to their knowledge & expertise, I particularly appreciate that they are dedicated to only your job until it is complete. The new bathroom is beautiful. We are so pleased we plan to have ASC do the reno on our second bathroom in the Spring."

"My wife and I DO NOT use anyone who is not on Angie's List so we understand the importance of having accurate, fair reviews. We found Cary on Angie's List with overall great feedback on jobs he had done so we called him in for an estimate. Despite being very busy, he made the time to come over on a Saturday morning. He had previously dropped by and assessed the damage from the outside but needed to see it from the inside to ensure he could judge it accurately. After 15 minutes, our fears were realized and he said he would need to remove the cedar impression siding and remove the roof and replace it with a different system because the pitch wasn't steep enough.
Within 48 hours, he provided a quote for his crew to come out and get the work done in a single day which was completely reasonable. He completed the work (guaranteed) as promised and left the site immaculate. He took pictures of the issue, of job progress and of the completed job. He mentioned he went around and filled some other issues he noticed while he was waiting for his crew to wrap up, no charge at all. He then discounted the quoted, agreed price 5% for angie's list deal I wasn't even aware of. Have you ever heard of a contractor accept less than an agreed price? Me neither.
Angie's List is a great resource for people to share experiences. I think the contractors who are honest and reasonable should be applauded too. We have been on the receiving end of some really lousy service so this was a new experience having someone do what they promised to do. Cary and his crew are the best in Monmouth County. We already have him pricing out finishing a storage space and will use him to build our deck in the spring. I cannot recommend Cary enough and you can reach me through Cary if you'd like to see his work firsthand.
