"I'll start off by saying that I did not know about this company beforehand and have only been a resident of NJ for 2 years. Mike (the owner) and his team of repairmen are very professional and talented!!! Fixing/installing the hot water heater was the second time I called Mike this year! The first time was earlier in the summer when the air conditioner was broken during a heat wave! He came over almost immediately and kept was transparent about the repair and cost every step of the way! He was able to fix it the same day...just like the hot water heater! Unlike the AC, it couldn't be saved (it was 10 years old), but he and his men worked 4-5 hours straight purchasing a new hot water heater, draining the preexisting one and installing the new unit...and I live on the second floor in a building with no elevator! The cost was definitely the icing on the cake - I seriously challenge anyone to find a company that provides a higher quality of work, professionalism and attention to detail with the value that Tanous Heating and Air Conditioning provides. A great find and a keeper!"

"Previously, I had gotten burned by a plumber from a different company during a water heater installation (literally, the house was on fire from blow torch - welding pipes) which made me very skeptical. When Moe and John arrived we reviewed the job and discussed the coupon that was offered as part of the service. When I learned that there were issues because of the "fine print" details of the job, I was ready to end the conversation and move on to the plumbing company. However, they were quick to honor the spirit of the coupon, gave me a fair price (though it was a little more than I initially wanted to spend - the job was more involved than I first thought) and even went with me to Home Depot to provide hands on recommendations regarding the replacement faucet. I paid for the faucet myself, so there was no mark up on the price and they installed it immediately; checking for leaks throughout the process to make sure there were no issues.
