"Brian and Kevin did a wonderful job installing a new liner in my inground pool. They also repaired our pool pump and upgraded the system to run smoother.....as the pool is 30 yrs old! I want to add all his team were very professional and efficient making sure that everything was perfect! We were very pleased and in the future they will be our first call for any pool issues. We will be hiring them to open and close our pool every year!"

"I was happy when my flooring and new liner were installed last year but when I opened this year, the liner was ripped, I called Ed Blais and he said he would come look at my patch, that was a month ago, since then I have more damage, I have more rips in the liner and believe it was faulty. Ed has not shown up and is now not returning calls, help!!!"

"I wanted the top courses of a chimney to be replaced. An incompetent mason botched the job totally. Masonry and More came to the rescue. They set up scaffolding and finished the job professionally and quickly. It looks great and was done at a very reasonable price."

"Finally - a service technician who is competent, does what he says he's going to do and charges a fair price for it! I had been looking for someone to fix our jacuzzi bath tub for awhile and had had no luck finding someone through Jacuzzi, so I checked out Angie's List and found House of Spas.  Based on the reviews, I gave them a call.  Troy got back to me promptly; we set up an appointment; he came when he said he would and determined that we needed a new pump.  He told me that he would order one and then call me when it came in, and left without asking for any payment.   After a week or so -- I don't remember exactly how long but it was what you would expect in terms of getting a new part -- he called to tell me the pump was in and we set up the installation appointment.  He returned when he said he would with another technician, they installed the pump, and the jacuzzi has been working fine ever since. Troy charged me $400 for the pump, $95 for the initial service call and $100 for the labor to install the pump/check for leaks, etc., all of which seemed fair to me, especially considering the distance he traveled to do the work.  He accepted a 10% Angie's List coupon, so that brought the total down to $535.50, with a 1 year warranty on parts and labor. I would definitely recommend House of Spas."

"We hired Set in Stone to create a new patio, pool deck (including new pool coping), front patio, front door step, stone outdoor kitchen, stone sitting wall, and stone firepit. We couldn't be happier with the results! numerous people have commented that our backyard looks like a 5 star resort. Ray and his team were beyond excellent. Ray was on site regularly and went above and beyond in every way. He even adjusted certain things that took extra time and work (details that we would have never noticed or considered) because it was the right way to do it. Things like proper drainage, slopes, sightlines. With such a big job, we are thankful we chose Ray and his team to do it right. The Team of Masons are the best in the business as well. with a pile of rocks, a hammer, stake and string they created a beautiful oasis and outdoor living area we would never have been able to dream of - no stone veneer, or engineered products, real deal STONES. During one of our first consultations with Ray we asked "where do you buy the stone?" thinking there would be a catalog or something. He said "from the ground.....when we dig them up, we use them somewhere" the result is a beautiful and natural end product. Ray also worked with us throughout the project to make sure we were happy and to make sure we understood what was going on, and why. we learned a lot, and quickly realized how lucky we were to be working with a great team of professionals who are proud of what they build. we've since referred Set in Stone to friends, family and neighbors and will surely use them again."

FAQs for swimming pool cleaning and maintenance service projects in Smithfield, RI

No. Salt water pools add chlorine to your pool using a sanitation system that produces this chemical. Salt alone does not sanitize a pool.

For pools with no salt, you need to add 30 lbs. of salt for every 1000 gallons of water.

Over-salting your pool won’t damage the pool system, but it will create water that tastes salty. This can also damage metals such as ladders and handrails.
