Small jobs welcome

"Mr. Kachurick installed a gas line for a fireplace in my home. He was extremely knowledgable, friendly, and professional. The service he provided was top tier. He made sure I understood everything he would be doing and even showed me how he checked to make sure the gas line wasn’t leaking after installing it. Not only did he provide us with excellent service in terms of the line installation, his expertise also gave me peace of mind, knowing that we were provided with high quality work."

Customers say: Quick response

"A pipe burst on our third floor. The water went downstairs thru the two lower levels and ruined the kitchen and bathroom and also caused a lot of damage in the laundry room. Anthony and Mark were polished and professional and gave us the kitchen and bathroom of our dreams. We were able to remain within budget, while choosing an updated look. Anthony and Mark were professional and have a great sense of humor. They did great work and we had a lot of laughs too. You will LOVE the work that they do and will end up calling them back for other projects!!"

"We recently hired this team to install a new gas service line, relocate our gas meter to the exterior, and handle the meter protection. They took care of everything—from saw cutting and removing material to testing the piping and coordinating the inspection. The crew was efficient, knowledgeable, and kept the workspace clean throughout the process. Everything passed inspection without issue, and the communication from start to finish was excellent. Highly recommend for any gas service or meter work!"

"Mr. Reynolds arrived at approximately 2:30 which was within the 1-4pm window.  He and his associate got right to work.to expose the leaking pipe.  They found the problem right away and proceeded to replace the pipe.  Both guys were very professional, personable and courteous.  I also had the drain replaced with a toe-tap drain and had the old ugly caulking around the top edge of the bathtub replaced with new caulking.  They were here 2 hours and cleaned up afterwards.  I would use them again in a heartbeat and feel they provided a valuable service at a fair price.  Thanks guys!! <br />"

"They are excellent, I have been using them for my plumbing work for the last 10 years. They have installed a gas water heater along with a chimney line preventing of the gas lighter heater and Changed filter on whole house filter and reverse osmosis filter and installed new faucet on basement sink. They come regularly to change filters as need. They provided excellent plumbing advise. I recommend them whole heartedly."

"Excellent. He explained what he was going to do. He could have started the next day, but I delayed the work because I thought my home owners insurance or my mine subsidence insurance would cover the job. Unfortunately, neither did. His company came out and did the work in a professional manner. Within 2 days, I had gas. My gas would have been turned on sooner, but the gas company delayed coming until the next day."

"<p>Erik was our technician. Arrived when expected. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. He performed the repairs he could and answered all my questions in detail.  One repair was unable to be completed because it involved the local water authority shutting off the water so he could repair our main water shutoff which would not close before he could complete one of the repairs originally called for. He called the water authority and set up a date for them to come out ( at my convenience) and for his return to do the repair. All costs were quoted before hand. Would definitely recommend to others.   </p> <br />"

"I have worked with Triangle Air Conditioning Co., Inc. on a ton of repairs to my rental properties and personal residence over the years and have had nothing but the best possible experience. Most recently my boiler at my personal home was out and they were able to install a new one promptly and even offered to provide me with space heaters to keep my family warm while I waited for the new unit to arrive (which did not take long at all). If you look at the before you can see that the old boiler was a faithful servant for longer than I'd been alive, but it finally heated its last droplets of water and it was due to be sent to the great big boiler house in the sky (good bye my old 10% efficient clunky noisy friend). The work was performed quickly and professionally and the system works great! Thank you so much! Will continue to be a lifelong customer."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Smithton, PA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
