"Doors were custom built and installed easily. Had to make wall repairs around door frames and new heat vents. Baseboard was completed quickly. All wood was stained prior to installation."

"Excellent job. Great people to work with. Have hired them to put in a new patio door which is scheduled for the end of October.. This was an excellent experience. I wished I had found them when we put the new roof on last year. Would have no qualms recommending Roger and his crew."

"We checked Angie's List for suggested contractors that could do our project. We selected KLA Construction since they were rated the best. From the first day that Fred Williams, Operations Manager, came to our home on August 2, 2016, to the day the work was started, September 28, and completed, October 11, we had nothing but praise for the men, for their professionalism, expertise, and courtesy. There was a slight delay in getting the job started because we were not sure what the township needed for a building permit. Once this was completed, the project was underway without any problem. As the work progressed, we requested two additional things, a GFCI outlet on the deck and a new screen door from the back porch onto the deck."

"The job required two days to complete.  The work was started and completed as contracted for.  Contractor worker were very professional and cleaned up.  I would use "EZ Home Exteriors"  in the future for other home projects. No upfront money was required and full payment was made upon my satisfaction with job completion."

"I could not be happier with the renovation on my new house. The kitchen and bath were totally renovated, a brand new laundry room was created, new flooring throughout, new staircase, some walls were removed, and other walls were added. Bill Hanik and Joe Novella were wonderful to work with. The renovation was expensive, but there were no nasty surprises as I have experienced with other contractors. I have already begun talking to them about the second floor and exterior renovations."

"Fantastic!.  Superb craftsmanship, quality work, prompt, professional. Mark is truly a master craftsman and is equally skilled in Carpentry, Painting, Electrical, Plumbing, Flooring, and Drywall.  The best part is that this is a one stop shop for remodeling and construction needs.  Mark is also very flexible and creative and offered some great ideas that improved the project.  Mark stands behind his work and is a pleasure to work with. I HIGHLY recommend these services <p></p>"

"I want to praise Bob Wiggins of Lay it Down Tile and Home Improvement for the work he did in my home, which was done timely and with precision.  His cost, after comparing it to others, was the best.  I completely trusted and felt comfortable with him being in my home when I was not present.  I would recommend Bob to anyone. <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Somerset, PA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
