"Awesome! Couldn't be happier!  It is clear that the owner Ed is more concerned about the quality of the project, and the homeowner's happiness, not just today but in the long term, more so than making a fast buck.  Ed explained everything patiently and thoroughly, delivered what he promised and then some.  When some extra things needed to be done, they were taken care of without extra charges added on.  Everything went as planned.
Ed and our other primary contact on site, Chris, as people, are great guys, and were a pleasure to have at our home.  The work crew was super efficient and friendly.  At the end of each work day, everything was cleaned up and tidy.  All these guys take a lot of pride in their work and it shows.
I would definitely work with Advanced Creations again and recommend them to anyone!"

Introducing Concraised, Leveling your concrete so it’s as even and great looking as the day it was poured.\n\nAt Concraised we use the Foamjacking method to level & repair sunken concrete surfaces. We serve homeowners, residential and commercial property managements & municipalities.\n\nHow it works:\nConcrete slab lifting works like this:\n\n1) Injection of environmentally-safe foam under the existing concrete\n 2) Foam expands to fill the void at the same time compressing the soil underneath\n 3) Slab is raised completely back to level\n\nConcraised, making great first impressions, one perfect walkway at a time.

"Installation crew worked very hard to complete the installation in a single day. We walked the property and discussed everything that was not defined in the initial plan. The final plumbing and setup steps were done quickly and efficiently. The crew tested each zone and adjusted the sprinkler heads for max coverage."

"We had some relatively minor termite damage in a basement corner, some of which may have predated our purchase of this house.  Called this company on a Sunday for an estimate, owner (Nick) was responsive, called me back that afternoon and then was able to come out the next day. He was familiar with this type of damage, told me the fixes and spotted another area of possible concern in the joist. He delivered an estimate within two days. We determined to go with his company based on his competitive price, seeming confidence in doing the job and also on other Angie's List reviews.
The day his workers were scheduled, they arrived before 9am. The main guy (Andy) sized up the jobs, listened to what I said and then went to go get materials and his helper to do the work. They ended up cutting out about 8 feet total of sill plate, which they replaced with pressure treated wood. While they couldn't get into the very far corner, they got as far as they
could and then sistered the rim joist. They also sistered the adjacent joists. Before they left, they sealed up a couple of cracks and "winterized" with spray foam any areas where they could see light around door frame or pipes.
While I would have liked if they could get a little farther, that was as far as they could go without making this a much more invasive and difficult job. I appreciated that Andy walked me through the steps as they did them, letting me know
when he ran into any problems. Overall this was a satisfying experience and I would use them again for other jobs.

"Iglesias concrete gave us several different ways we could build a new stone patio after we replaced our deck. The estimate was custom-tailored to our exact specifications and factored in our questions for both the original deck demolition and a new paver patio. While we have currently put the job on hold, we are seriously considering using Iglesias when we move forward on this project in the next couple months."

"It went well. Bob Steck the representative was very knowledgeable and responsive and won my trust immediately. I would give the job an A all around except for one disappointment. The crew, who were genial and polite, thought they were finished when I pointed out that no wall patching had been done even though it was in the contract. This brought on some grumbling which, though understandable, I did not appreciate. They patched the wall as required but I suspect they did this more hastily than they might have otherwise. When I came back I found that the clean-out valve, exit pipe, soil pipe and window sill were covered in cement splotches. This is an aesthetic quibble but it soured a job otherwise well-done. I think if they had taken just a little more time on the wall and to clean up, I would have been perfectly satisfied. It hasn't rained since the installation, but the French drain itself looks good to go. I would recommend them."

FAQs for concrete delivery projects in Somerville, NJ

The amount of concrete you need varies by project. One 80lb bag covers an area of about 2 square feet, for a slab 4 inches thick. Two 60lb bags of concrete cover an area of about 2 square feet for a slab that is 6 inches thick.

A truckload of concrete can usually hold a maximum of 10 cubic yards.

The cost of concrete per cubic yard depends on which brand you purchase, but usually costs about $110 for bags.

It takes about 41 bags of concrete to fill a cubic yard. Always plan to buy a few bags more than the exact required amount in case of mistakes.

To calculate the amount of concrete you need for a slab, you should find the cubic yardage of the area you will be filling. Just follow these steps:

  1. Measure the area in feet.

  2. Multiply length by width, and then by thickness.

  3. Divide the resulting number by 27 to find cubic yards.
