"When American Jewel installed the door I gave them A grades as I thought they did an excellent job.  But after using the door for a few weeks I noticed the dead bolt didn't close completely, but only about 2/3, and also noticed the screen door was no longer aligned properly, so although it closed and looked right, the door was slightly off and it would no longer lock.  I called American Jewel and they scheduled the installer to return and make the minor corrections.  The installer did not show up.  When I called American Jewel again, they did not return my calls. I complained to Angie's List, and via their complaint resolution process American Jewel contacted me.  They were very apologetic and attributed it to a mix up, accepted responsibility and sent the installer to my home to make the minor corrections.  I would use American Jewel again, despite this hiccup, as my wife and I like the door they installed, feel we received excellent value, and ultimately American Jewel followed through on the minor problems I described and corrected them all."

He also installed gutter guards which look amazing. He was able to color match the roof shingles with the guards. My dryer was not working properly so Matt suggested to clean the duct work and what we found was amazing, it's amazing the house didn't catch fire prior to the cleaning. The dryer works perfectly now, like it's brand new! I will definitely be calling MTL Contracting again for more work around my home this Spring!"
