"It took 22 weeks for HydroTech Pools to compete our pool and deck. During this lengthy process, they were inexplicably uncommunicative and unapologetic for the delays. Crews came and went with weeks of waiting in between and the whole job was rarely supervised. There were a number of mishaps ... piles of fill left for months, construction garbage left at the side of the house, an empty pool left empty with no caution barrier, people showing up to install equipment that hadn't been delivered. While we watched other pool companies completing two comparable pools nearby in less than 13 weeks, it was a frustrating experience for us as seasonal residents with limited time in Florida. The job failed several inspections and it took them additional weeks to remedy these minor issues. Towards the end of the project, we sent them a respectful letter highlighting some of the issues that had occurred and making a few constructive suggestions. The owner was completely unresponsive. While the pool looks fine so far, it wasn't worth the hassle with all the other pool companies out there. We cannot recommend this company."

"I must say, I was very considerate to this company. I allowed them to correct their mistakes, gave them the benefit of the doubt. They had months, close to a year, to complete a grade three water damage situation including a new roof and new drywall. It's less than 30 days before insurance will stop paying out and unfortunately, they cannot be bothered to finish on time. They gave the "run around," didn't answer phone calls, tried to take advantage. I am sorry to say they will be defending themselves in court. It's most unfortunate. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone on the PLANET. May Jesus, the Better Business Bureau, the DBPR and anyone else I can find have mercy on their souls. I know I won't. The project was completed professionally and looks great. The professionalism starts with the very comprehensive detailed bid package. We interviewed several contractors and received bid packages which were illegible, not very specific and didn’t do the amount of work Corban was going to do. Paul’s sale was not high pressure, but just very matter of fact – “here’s what we’re going to do and here’s the cost.” The slowest part of the project was getting through the design drawing and then permitting. Once that portion was completed and subs started getting on site then things moved much better. (Note, when you are considering a project make sure you take into account major holidays where workers have time off. This is not unique to Corban, but is a consideration when dealing with any tradesmen. ) Paul did a wonderful job of communicating the time line on the project and what was going to happen daily through the process. We knew what was going to happen in the week and if changes occurred he promptly updated the work schedule. Whenever work was underway he would stop by sometime during the work to observe and answer questions. His subs were professional as well. If issues surfaced or work was not satisfactorily completed, Paul made sure it was completed satisfactorily. In total, this was a remodeling project which went very well and looks absolutely spectacular."
