"Rider Home Improvement did a great job with our cabin portico project. We wanted to cover our front entry steps with a small exterior addition to protect the steps and keep the entry free of snow and rain. The cabin is rustic, so we wanted rough sawn cedar and stone bases to keep the look of our log cabin. Craig Rider was extremely good about being pro-active, following up promptly, and showing up when he said he would. We had a few sub-contractor and weather issues that impacted our schedule, but Craig kept us on his radar and made our small project a priority. We had a few concerns about material quantities, measuring, and overall design aesthetics, but with continuous in-person conversations, we achieved what we set out to achieve. Craig’s pricing was fair and transparent. We enjoyed working with both Craig and his son, David, and are very pleased with the final project."

"At our first meeting (after interviewing 3 others) Greg laid out the plan for the deck replacement and after 15 minutes I knew he was a competent, detail oriented contractor. During this project he broke down the staggered payments and communicated every day of the project through texts and showing up in person. Greg took charge in overseeing everything like a platoon leader in the field by maintaining the flow of construction resulting in a smooth, exceptional conclusion. Part of the old deck was problematic. He examined every inch where there were issues and was able to overcome some difficulty and see what I couldn't. He suggested a landing on the stairway, widening and decreasing the pitch which accommodated an easier climb for us. Those are just the highlights, there was much more. "Greg from GSC Electric was prompt, professional and friendly. My kitchen was badly in need of additional lighting, especially over the counter tops. He laid out the lights to give excellent coverage and my wife and I were very pleased with the results. (She especially, because it was a surprise). Making the wire runs from the power to the new lights and dimmer switch was a little challenging due to the nature of my attic and walls, and he had to cut through 2 layers of sheet rock for the lights but it all went off without a hitch.
      It was really a great deal too.
