"Even though HomeAdvisor had me set an appointment, Jared was able to come out much sooner (thank goodness!). My issue was freezer thawing and fridge freezing in a side-by-side! He found my first problem immediately in the fridge (damper stuck open so the cold air was flowing constantly into the refrigerator) and then we cleaned out the freezer and discovered the evaporator assembly was not cooling completely - likely due to a clog in coils that send freon through the system. Suggested that given the age of the appliance + cost to repair I should be able to find a replacement for just a bit more than the repairs.
