"They are a public utility. It affected our ability to get in and out of our garage for a while. They were doing as they were supposed to do. They went around periodically with their sniffer and detected a leak. They had to dig a big hole in the alley and redo some of the pipe work. They filled in the hole. I was out taking the dog for a walk and got a whiff of gas and I told my husband. He didn't smell anything but a day or so later the gas company came out to fill in the patch and somebody told them what I had smelled. They got their sniffer machine out and there was still a leak.
