"While I didn't think the plumber did the cleanest job installing the shower pan, it passed inspection and I think they fixed the leak just fine. I did want to say that Gary B., the service manager, was top notch the whole way through in how much he tried to help meΒ  and how customer service oriented he was. One of the faucets wasn't installed evenly, and he sent a plumber out to fix it immediately. He also took care of all the permitting. He was a pleasure to work with and a real asset to the company.

"I had an excellent experience with your plumber David Yates in early November of 2025, so I called your office April 29th 2026 to request his services to complete work begun April 2nd with Invoice 157850535 by another of your plumbers, Anthony Greene. May 1st, via Invoice 159573769, David completed the repair and replacement of my Hall bathroom's Tub/Shower handles with installation of Gerber extension kit picked up from Hydrologic; David also picked up new sleeves and after discussions with Bucks staff, cut extensions and chrome sleeves to size, then installed handles and tested; working properly at this time, then installed owner supplied handheld shower and tested; no leaks. I am overjoyed with David's excellent work, professionalism and kind demeanor. I plan to ask for David Yates for all of my The Clean Plumber services in the future. Thank you, Robert Boileau"

"Fintino, did a great job and he communicated with me explaining everything with great details He and the young lady who installed the unit were the best representatives I have encountered in your organization. Those two individuals should encourage or teacher the other representatives, co workers, how to communicate effectively with clients Thanks for sending him"

"I needed to have the flushing components in my toilet tank replaced. Alayna and Jonathan were professional and friendly. They were very safety-conscious, wore masks, gloves, and shoe coverings. They got the job done efficiently. They cleaned up after themselves and left the bathroom even better than they found it. I would definitely use them again if I needed a plumber."

"I called James K Hafke for a second opinion for a sewer pipe that needed replacing. The other company was pushing to break up cement foundation to replace the pipe that was located under the building and had stated an estimate within a couple of days but didn't contact me till much later than promised. Michael (Hafke) came and photographed the pipe to see if replacing it was needed and then to determine all my options. The options and estimate were given right away and I engaged their services. Sal came a day or two later and started digging but first took care of clog to avoid another backup. He was very professional and kept me informed of their progress. The pipe was replaced the following day and a week later the inspector signed off on the project and Sal replaced the dirt over the pipe. The area was left extremely clean with the pavers lined up against the wall for them to be placed back over. I would hire James K Hafke again in a heartbeat and Sal was the best!!"

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in South-florida, FL

When installing a sewer line, you should consider extra costs like tree removal, driveway repairs, or patio resurfacing. Hiring a professional plumber is essential, and you may need additional specialists if landscaping or heavy excavation is involved. Addressing these potential extras up front helps ensure accurate budgeting and prevents sudden cost overruns.

To calculate the length of sewer piping you need, measure the distance from your house to the main sewer line, adding the depth of the city main to this distance. Be sure to account for any obstacles like tree roots or utility lines that may require additional piping.

City sewer lines are installed at a lower elevation to prevent unwanted backflow and water damage. This lower positioning ensures enhanced performance and long-term safety, meeting all technical and safety standards.

With trenchless methods, a plumber inserts a smaller pipe within the existing plumbing, avoiding full excavation. It can be more cost-effective and less disruptive than traditional methods, but it's not suitable for all homes.

Yes, you must secure permission from your local water authority before connecting to a public sewer line. This approval ensures your connection meets all regulatory requirements.

Sewer lines are buried between 18 inches and 8 feet deep, with most systems placed between 18 and 30 inches. In colder regions, pipes are set deeper to remain below the frost line.
