"First, I need to apologize to Mr. Pruitt.  I thought I had left a glowing review the last time he came out but evidently it didn't publish because I can;t find it here anywhere.  We bought our current house in March of 2014.  It is on a well and we could see by the orange stains in the toilets and tubs that we had a problem.  We had a new water softening system put in by another company.  In December of that year the pump stopped working and we called Mr. Pruitt.  Despite being a new customer he came out the same day and diagnosed the problem.  We had "the worst water he has seen in 40 years".  He replaced the pump and the tanks and cleaned my well.  He was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Thirteen months later (just outside the one year warranty) the pump died. 

Mr Pruitt came out and delivered the distressing news that the pump failed because the water was just so bad.  He installed a higher HP commercial grade pump at cost.  He didn't have to do that.  It wasn't his fault the well is so bad.  But he is a really nice guy who wants to do right by his customers.  I was very grateful to him for working with me on the cost.  He and his guy worked their behinds off all day on a Saturday and he didn't charge me any labor costs.  And if that weren't enough, he cajoled the manufacturer of the pump itself to give me a better warranty on the pump. He really went above and beyond.

He has been back twice since (once to diagnosed and repair a faulty pressure switch and once to repair a cracked pipe) and has refused to charge me anything.  He drives almost 1.5 hours from his place in St. Pete up to my home in New Port Richey and won't even accept gas money for his trouble. 

If you need a reputable and professional well and pump service you should definitely work with Earl Pruitt.  He's a rock solid man who runs a rock solid company and they don't make them like that much anymore.  Thank you Mr. Pruitt!

"joshua arrived when he said he would, looked at the problem - toilet wax seal, told me what caused the problem and how he would repair it. he also looked in a couple of other places just to make sure water wasn't dripping down the supply line thus creating the impression that it was the wax seal when in fact it might have been elsewhere. he then went out and got his tools and materials needed for the wax seal repair and even changed the bolts which anchor the toilet to the floor. within 30 minutes he was done. he was focused, thorough and very knowledgeable from what i could see. i plan on asking for him when i have my yearly plumbing service performed. i used to perform most of the household repairs myself, but not having the flexibility that i once had and quite frankly the desire, i look for people in the trades that i can trust, know what they're doing and make the repair to my satisfaction."

"I have a old well and the pump quit working. I called Tampa Well Drilling and they made an arrangement to meet me at my house. James took out the old system and completely rebuilt the pump with new materials. It was a big job and they did a great job. I'm very happy with the work they did."

"I purchased a new A/C unit. All went well with the sales and installation. After repeated return visits because the house was not getting cool we came to realize the new system was not compatible with the old duct work. An unexpected and expensive surprise. I felt as though that should have been identified earlier. The management did work hard to solve the problem. "Had issue with septic tank overflowing when heavy use such as washing multiple loads of laundry. Had 2 other septic tank companies and both immediately went to "you need to replace your drain field". No analysis or testing just straight to the $10 K to $12 K estimates. Then Jeff from Tampa Bay Plumbers came out and explained their process. The end quote for a new drain field was about 4-5 k less depending upon if we had to have a a pump also installed. That was awesome to hear in itself. But first he said that we should do the following, pump out the tank and then get to the distributor box and see if may be something was wrong there. Wow he was going to actually diagnose the problem. Refreshing. So their techs came out the next day, one pumped out the tank while the other dug around the distributor box. Low and behold the box was filled with sludge. The system is over 20 years old. He thoroughly cleaned out the box and tank of sludge and the pipes leading into the drain field. Those too had some sludge about 2 feet from the box but he was able to clear them as well. So although we suspect the drain field may need replacement in the future, we think we have a few more years before that is needed and appreciate a company who wants your business by not jumping to the most expense "fix" when it is NOT necessary. Professionalism and honesty earns them my plumbing and septic work from now on. If you are smart you will always call them to at least get a quote for any of your plumbing needs."
