"Bob is a consummate professional with high work standards, great ideas, and tons of experience with just about any kind of build or repair job. He gets the job done right, and explains each step of the way- along with his reasoning and price options. He’s not the cheapest handyman, but you’ll find you are quite happy to pay slightly higher prices because you understand that he is dedicated to a quality project outcome, no matter the size of the job. We’ve had Bob help us with installing insulated ductwork through our attic to outside from 2 bathroom exhaust fans, install a sliding shower door, and install an attic exhaust vent through a side wall, and repair extensive rot on 3 bedroom window sills and connected rot repair under exterior wood siding. We are hiring him again!"

"I had such a great experience with this company last year when they built my custom library that there was no question who I would call when I wanted additional cabinetry for my bedroom and bathroom. Once again, they exceeded my expectations. The craftsmanship is outstanding, and every cabinet was built with incredible attention to detail. The quality, precision, and finish are exceptional, and everything looks like it was always meant to be part of the house. They were professional, reliable, and easy to work with from start to finish. It's not often you find someone whose work is consistently this good, and I'm so glad I trusted them with another project."

"Mr DeVaux did an excellent job on the finish carpentry work, painting and staining on a stain glass window frame install in an existing wall. The mitered corners had no gaps. Even though the job requirements changed somewhat there were no additional charges. I plan to hire him again on additional projects."

"In addition to the kitchen, they also remodeled our bathroom. Marco was sensitive to the fact that we only had one bathroom and made sure we were out the facilities for the minimum time possible. Our bathroom remodel was completed with lightning speed which we really appreciated! The kitchen remodel was also speedy. They worked with our requirements for smaller than usual appliances, finding, and even building, cabinets to fit our small kitchen space. Everyone who worked on our projects were very professional, wearing masks and keeping windows open even in the winter months. We're very happy with our new kitchen and bathroom!"

"When I bought my 100+ year old house in West Roxbury, the double-hung windows were the most awful replacement windows imaginable. Not only were they ugly as sin, they were barely functional. Some of them wouldn't close completely, some of them wouldn't open at all, and some of the sashes were crooked. Jeff came out to measure the windows and make recommendations. I replaced all of the double-hung windows with Anderson (wood inside, no-maintenance outside) and other windows with Marvin awning models, as Jeff recommended. He spent a great deal of time with me discussion the options, and then patiently helping me decide on details, such as number of divided lights. The exterior window frames and sills had been clad in aluminum or vinyl, and Jeff explained that there could be water damage underneath. They replace these if necessary with MDF (I believe) on a board-by-board basis, for a reasonable price. After I placed the order, Dennis took over for scheduling and invoicing, and arranging for the building permit. There was a delay of several months because they were booked well in advance. As it turned out, the Anderson windows came in a bit earlier than expected and there was a break in their schedule, so those were done first. The guys who did the work were professional and pleasant, with good communication skills. They cleaned up completely at the end of each day. I had been focusing on function, eagerly anticipating having windows that actually worked, and I was stunned by how beautiful the windows are, and how much better the house looks from the inside and outside. Another unexpected benefit is that the screens are much less visible than what I was used to. The guys did a great job on the frames and sills that they replaced. After the double-hung windows were in, I decided to replace the 3 double-hung windows in the garage, so placed another order. By the time the Marvin windows came in, COVID infection rates had increased to the point that I was concerned about having anyone in the house. Dennis could not have been nicer about waiting to install them until I was ready. The job was completely quickly after I gave them the go-ahead. It's been about 6 months since the job was finished (I should have done this review long ago) and the windows function beautifully. I give Fisher Windows my highest recommendation."

"Got good advice (without pressure) regarding the pros and cons of galvanization and decided to go with it. Railings were installed as promised, are sturdy, and look great!"

"From consultation to finish, Jane and Brandon were very helpful and persistent on their job. Tite they installed are still looking new after 6 years."

"It went great, Gabe and his team were affordable and willing to work with us on cost. They arrived promptly when they said they would and were very responsive to us. Gabe constantly checked in with us to make sure we were happy with the service. They added missing shingles and did other little things to improve the house without us asking them to do so or quoting it. When the job was complete it was very well done and we were very satisfied. We would recommend Gabe and his team to anyone looking to have their home painted."

"This was two-man job over three days, building a 160 sq ft level patio in sloping terrain. They did an excellent job, overcoming the challenges posed by the terrain, and ending up with a beautiful patio that looks better than I imagined."

"I hired MA Design and Construction Co to do my bathroom remodel at the recommendation of a friend who also used them for a bathroom/kitchen remodel, and I would definitely hire them again. Not only did they finish right on schedule, but they understood my desire to stay within budget, and never tried to pressure me to overspend or increase costs. They did not start construction until all of the materials were in hand, or in stock, which made the renovation go even smoother. I also had some plumbing issues arise (old valves that needed replacing) which they were able to replace without adding time to the schedule. Marc, Raquel, and team were great and very responsive. Raquel’s design suggestions were really helpful to me, as I wasn’t 100% sure what would look good in a small bathroom. I would definitely recommend their work!"
