"The job actually involved replacing windows and an exterior door, but the drop down list didn't include that as an option for some reason. Our 1970 home still had the original wood windows (25 of them). We also wanted to replace our exterior kitchen door after a full gut kitchen remodel. (The contractor for the kitchen made it sound like the door replacement would be difficult.) We got quotes from 3 different pro's. ARHT did not have a high pressure sales approach, which was a huge plus. From start to finish, the process with ARHT was helpful, professional, and courteous. On day of install, all old windows were removed and new windows installed. The exterior kitchen door was removed/replaced, easy peasy. One window sash was broken at some point before delivery; I was informed of the replacement plan same day. Install was efficient and the crew did a great job with clean up. I highly recommend ARHT!"

I paid a 50% deposit via ACH (a mistake, since I wouldn't be able to later dispute the payment through a credit card issuer). Six months later, there is still no permit, no work, and no refund. After months of delays, I was told the permit had initially been filed with the wrong jurisdiction. Since then, I?ve received repeated assurances, flowcharts explaining the process, and promises that someone would follow up?none of which led to progress. When I requested my $6,443 deposit back, I was told my request had been ?escalated.? No one ever followed up. At this point, six months after paying 50% upfront, I have no staircase and no clear path to getting my money back."
