"I was recently seeking a contractor on Angi for an urgent interior paint project at my home with quick turnaround time. This bedroom paint project included wall paint (2 colors; 1 accent wall), wall baseboard trim repair + paint, door trim repair + paint, door paint, and a plumbing panel replacement + paint. When I posted the request on Angi, Eugene from Honeycomb Construction called me within a minute after posting (Wow!). I explained my situation (baby on the way/arriving in weeks, nesting) and project details, and Eugene stopped by the same day to get a good look at room needing paint + repairs. Eugene was able to meet my familyâ s needs to get this room ready within one week. Although the estimated job timeline slid out by one day due to factors out of Eugeneâ s control (cold room on the basement floor, so paint takes longer to dry between coats), he did an excellent job with all the promised work: the paints of coat were even and full, the lines between the two colors of paint were crisp and clean, and the baseboard trim was looking sharp! Eugene does great work, heâ s really responsive and communicative throughout the process, heâ s really professional, and he is very kind. He went to hardware store and called from the store to make sure the door selection would be okay. It was slightly different than the original door. He installed door, took away the old door and was professional."

Everything went well, except the painting portion. 

The drywall, removal and install and the mud portion was excellent quality and service

The window removal and install was excellent quality

The painting preps and quality standards of hiding the nails and caulking was not up to where it should have been. It took two trips to have the painter complete the project where it needed to be.

Otherwise would recommend this company they are punctual, professional and do quality work and ensure that the customer is satisfied with the job.

"This job was to renovate my home in preparation to sell it in early March. It consisted of a kitchen and 3 bathroom upgrade, flooring and lighting fixture replacement, painting and removal of 3 popcorn ceilings. Beginning the second week of January, the entire job was completed within 6 weeks. When first hired, the principal of Palm Construction carefully tuned in to my specific needs and targeted timeframe, offering succinct suggestions respects colors, style and quality of products used. Specialists in each trade worked cohesively with each other, as well as alongside other contractors that I had personally hired separately for windows and pool replaster. Although I had intended to live in the property during the renovation, I quickly realized that my occupancy was impeding progress, so I made the decision to vacate the premises. This was especially important during the removal of popcorn ceilings which contained asbestos. The work moved seamlessly from the removal of kitchen counters, sink, cabinet doors, appliances and flooring to the demolition of 3 bathrooms. Timely mutual decisions were made about fixtures, mirrors, flooring, sinks, vanities, paint and hardware, allowing the job to progress steadily to reach very precise goals. Along the way, it was determined that the air ducts needed replacing and AC would be a welcome addition to the total job. These issues were discussed and explained clearly and quoted at a reasonable cost - so I decided to add the change orders. Although I had never been involved with a home renovation in the past, I was very impressed with the patience and care taken to communicate with me throughout the entire job. I was a demanding customer with an expectation of perfectionism and Palm Construction was up for the challenge. Beyond the scope of the original job, Palm went above and beyond with finishing touches and little extras here and there. They've come back to help me even after completion of the job, when I needed some additional retrofits for my appliance installation, which was not even part of the original job. I know that I can count on Palm Construction to be responsive and willing for anything that may come up in the future. I learned that they are a GC that you can totally trust and rely on. In summary, I am in awe of the completed work. My friends and neighbors are astonished with the transformation of my home. The end product is flawless and most impressive. My realtor has already offered Palm Construction opportunities for other jobs. My neighbors have asked for their contact information to get quotes. I highly recommend Palm Construction for your renovation work, whether it is a large or small job. During the 6 weeks of this job, I got to know the principal, Guy Yaakov, and his team.
