"I first utilized Chapman-Lockwood in September 2018 for a complete home remodel for a new client. As a recognized interior designer, I expect a renovation to be done on a schedule, for the job site be kept tidy at all times and for the crews to be trustworthy & sensitive to the client’s environment - especially when the clients are living in their home during the construction. Cameron and his team did all of this and more. The house has been transformed & updated and the clients are thrilled with the outcome! Chapman-Lockwood checked all the requests on our sheet - which is rarely done without a punch list. I have since utilized Cameron and his crews for electrical and other miscellaneous work for a long-time client and most recently on a very tight deadline project which required painting the interior of a home in which the home owners were moving into from their home in Maryland in just 7 days. He promised it would be done, with no corners cut, along with extensive sheet rock repairs and two coats of paint (plus hanging new lighting and installing new hardware) for a 3600 square foot home. Chapman-Lockwood delivered again and another very happy client was the result. We just commenced work on our 4th project together which is another complete home remodel in the Galleria area. Cameron provided a prompt & detailed estimate which addressed all of the client’s concerns & requirements. Cameron added creative and cost-effective ideas which will be utilized for this project. I’m certain that another very happy client will result. My staff and I have very high standards and have worked with many different contractors. Cameron and his crews have turned out to be a great assent to my interior design firm. I would recommend Chapman-Lockwood for any project, small or large, without reservation. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Regards, Amilee Wendt Wendt Design Group 713-668-7474"

"Excellent work and honest service . What more can you ask for when dealing with someone in charge of making your dream home come to life. Anthony’s crew is first class . Highly recommended for all your painting and remodel needs."

"We got an estimate with Groovy Hues for our interior home and loved the transparency of the company overall that we ended up also requesting a follow up estimate for an exterior paint job as well. AJ took the time to explain the differences in the paint options and made sure to we understood the value in each option which we greatly appreciated! Needless to say between the excellent customer service, friendly conversation, price transparency, & no pressure sales we will be using Groovy Hues for our home painting needs both inside and out!"

"After reviewing Angie’s list, I was able to identify two (2) general contractors in my area. The first provided a general hourly quote over the phone and scheduled an appointment to provide me the number of hours required to complete the work. The second general contractor was Gulf Coast Master Craftsmen. Michael Mortensen (owner and master craftsman) contacted me regarding my request for a quote and scheduled a meeting based upon my schedule which was approximately 6:30 pm to accommodate my work schedule. When I arrived home, Michael was waiting for me and we proceeded to discuss the work that was needed in addition to discussing additional work that I wanted completed. Michael recommend coming back the following day with equipment to better inspect the entire house trim to identify rotted areas in order to provide an accurate quote. A detailed quote was provided by the end of the day with pictures of damaged/rotted trim. Once approval was provided, Michael started the project within a few days. Michael notified me when he arrived at my property to start work in addition to sending me pictures at the end of the day of work performed. The project was completed in 2 days and I was once again asked to meet Michael to conduct a walk-through of work that was completed to ensure my satisfaction. The house looks much brighter (amazing what new trim and paint can do!) and although I did not anticipate having to replace house/chimney trim – Michael was able to respond and complete the work quickly to avoid disruption. I am extremely detailed and expect high level of service from anyone I hire. The work performed was seamless - the work blended well and does not look patchy which was a concern seeing as how sections were replaced. Michael addressed some observations I made related to paint splatters and even though some were from the previous owners Michael went above and beyond and cleaned up the brick. Michael clearly takes pride in his work and we will be using Michael in the near future for additional projects!"

"Had an incorrectly installed door (and dog door) that needed to be replaced. Gary came out promptly and provided an estimate. On the day of the replacement, Gary was prompt, and kept me in the loop every step of the way, and addressed all of my concerns. I also had a small ad-hoc request that wasn't door related that was completed for a reasonable price. The work performed was outstanding and I'm very pleased. Wouldn't hesitate to use him again."

"Everything was perfect. They did the perfect texture match and painted excellent the whole interior house."
