"Glen met me at my house and spent time to learn what I wanted to accomplish.  My basement is too cold in the winter for me to work projects. My basement doors were original to my 1956 house and Glen recommended changing those out as a first step.  This required extra work to deconstruct the doors which were built with 1956 construction methods and place new pre-hung insulated doors.  They look great and function fully.  <br /> Next we talked about my budget for closing off the room.  I found Glen trustworthy enough to tell him what I had to work within.  He went back and gave me several options.  His numbers were good and fair to both of us.  I didn’t want cheap work and I found the prices to be reasonable for professional work.  I rated good on price rather than excellent simply because it was as it <br /> should be – good for both us. <br /> The final room construction work is excellent.  It looks professionally done.  I requested reusing a window I had and a door I had so I could have some natural light in the new room.  Glen’s team had to build the threshold for the door and rebuild the trim on the old window.  It required true craftsmanship and it looks great! <br /> His team was professional and pleasant.  They cleaned everything up. <br /> The services and work were captured in a written contract which I appreciated so we both knew what to expect.  The contract includes warranty language, insurance and workers compensation laws language, and estimated time to complete.  Even though my job was small, I appreciated the thoroughness. <br /> Glen was very focused on my job from start to finish.  He communicates very well and wanted to be sure I understood what he was going to do on his end so no surprises for me.  <br /> If I decide on further work, I’ll definitely be looking to Glen Mock Construction. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"I used an architect who helped design and supervise the progress of my new garage/art studio, 2012. Dwane worked well with the architect. I was committed to the project. Estimate of time of project? 6-8 weeks. How long did it take? 6 months. They are building everywhere in my area and is a good sign for this older neighborhood. My driveway started a hairline crack the first year. They were uninterested. It reached across the driveway. The drywall tape started peeling and I let it go, and now my beautiful trellis is rotting, tipping and cracking the outside stucco. They took a look at it, ran a large nail through the wood to temporarily lift it almost level. But the cedar wood is rotting, the crack is still there and the other side of the trellis is starting the same disintegration. It would have been so convenient for them to fix this. They were in the neighborhood since last fall."
