The contractor contacted me promptly, followed with an onsite visit and same day estimate. I determined to consider options of pursuing the projects in 2024 or Spring of 2025 over 3 months, finally agreeing to complete in October of 2024. Once the contract was approved and signed the craftsman arrived for overview of the project and arranged to begin promptly advising me of an expected time frame for completion, considering weather and season of this year. "I got a referral for him from a neighbor to put up a ceiling texture in my hallway.  I knew it was a "small job" and many places put you off or just don't want to do it.  When I called him, he was very nice on the phone and offered to come out the same day or the next day (whatever was best for me).  I was instantly impressed with his sense of urgency.  He did come out later the same day and gave me a very reasonable estimate.  I immediately scheduled it!  He came back with an employee two days later and did a beautiful job!  He was clean (didn't make any mess in my house) and wanted to make sure I was pleased with the job he did.  He was very accommodating and said he is happy to work in the small jobs whenever he can.  I would highly recommend him!"

"Jon and William did a fantastic job. They even managed to work around me while I was fighting a case of pneumonia. They have an excellent work ethic and are very meticulous in achieving the best results. They kept me informed as to the ongoing progress and scheduled areas. "My wife and I highly recommend Kate Lesley, Inc. we were looking for someone to remove the popcorn texture from the ceilings in our house. Kate Lesley was recommended to us from Dellert’s Paint and Wallpaper. I had heard good things about Kate Lesley from co-worker’s who had utilized their services. I contacted Kate Lesley and spoke with Bruce Patterson and explained what we needed done. We made an appointment and Bruce and a member of his team showed up, took measurements and pictures and advised when they would get back to us with a written estimate. In speaking with Bruce and in the estimate, it was fully explained to us what work would be performed. Having complete trust in Bruce, we scheduled the work to be performed while we were out of town. Since there was a six week window of when we would be gone, Bruce advised he would let us know when the work would begin and when it would be completed (he guaranteed it would be completed prior to our return, and it was). On day one, I received a call from Bruce advising we had no running water and he was concerned about possible burst pipes. I explained this had happed previously during a cold snap and the freeze was at the main. I told him I would contact the utility, but Bruce advised he would handle. He made contact with the utility and they responded to our home within a couple of hours and restored our water, it was frozen at the main. This speaks volumes as to the professionalism of Bruce and Kate Lesley. This was not his job, but he knew we were in Colorado and told me to enjoy our trip and he would handle. How many other companies would have done this? Bruce contacted us when the job was finished and sent a final invoice. The terms of the invoice for payment was 20 days upon completion of the job, but Bruce waived this as he knew we were still out of town. Bruce said to review the work when we got home and to pay when we were satisfied with the job. Again, how many companies would do this, especially with a small company. He could have made us abide by the terms of the contract, after all, he has to pay for supplies purchased and make payroll. We are extremely happy with the job his crew did. I never minded the popcorn ceilings, but my wife did, but after seeing the job Kate Lesley did, I am very glad we had the popcorn texture removed. Since Kate Lesley did such a great job, we asked they provide an estimate for interior painting. To recap, I highly recommend Kate Lesley, Inc. they are honest, trustworthy, professional and Bruce is extremely personable. Thank you Bruce and please thank your crew for Lori and I."

"All calls were returned within 8 hours or less.  Arrived 15 minutes before scheduled time.  All doors installed in time frame stated (one day).  Cleaned up all areas and hauled away old doors.  Price seemed a little high but considering there were no problems with contacts, or not showing up when scheduled, etc., it was well worth the price.  Tom and Tom were both very pleasant and helpful to work with in all aspects of installation.  Would highly recommend them and will use them again.  Price <br />"

"Upon completion of demo, lead carpenter discovered bathtub had drain on the wrong side. Installation of tub was next step, so another tub was ordered and arrival expected in 3 days. Meanwhile carpenter installed floor except around perimeter of tub. Carpenter did not return next day (Friday) and did not hear from anyone, so when no one showed up Monday am, called lead carpenter, went straight to voicemail. Called Curt, went straight to voicemail. Received a call about a half hour later from project manager, who apologized but said tub was still in limbo. He ultimately solved the problem the following day by locating one in East Moline, IL and driving there himself to pick it up. At that point received a call from Curt apologizing for the situation and offering to make it up to us with a gift card to a restaurant or cleaning service. The rest of the process went smoothly, carpentry, plumbing, finishes are all excellent. Final install was curtain rod and carpenter suggested we wait for one that didn't require drilling into the marble panel surround, so we asked him to order a different one and it was installed the following week. We are very pleased with the result."
