All companies I contacted needed to run a sewer camera before they could give an actual quote, but the price quote I got from Interstate was about $1000 less than ‘equivalent job’ examples cited by the other companies. Also, other companies were asking for a substantially larger sum for the camera inspection, all in the $150-200 more than Interstate. After contacting 3 other plumbers with no success because they were busy with other customers, I went to home advisers and requested emergency service from several plumbers in the area and Rene from R plumber called within 10 min and was at our house within the next hour (very prompt). We had no idea where the water was coming from and Rene was very upfront about what needed to be done as far as cutting holes in the wall to find the source. "Very well. The pipe had a pinhole leak in a copper elbow joint and required cutting the pipe, in a confined space, to drain standing water. G**** Miranda did a remarkable job repairing the pipe and an adjacent supply pipe I elected to have repaired in case its joint might leak. Workmanship was exceptional, potential mess and additional Sheetrock damage was minimized, G**** Miranda worked tirelessly for 3 hours and produced a satisfactory repair."
