They suggested instead of fixing the current one because of age, that I should get a new opener. We scheduled the work to be done the following morning. Jose came and had the new opener installed within an hour and half. He let me know the options for the different openers and what each level added in options. I chose the basic opener option, which included wifi/an app to use to open/close the door in addition to a car remote and wall device. He did a fantastic job! I have used Family Prestige Garage Doors in the past for garage door tune-ups and also a garage door replacement. They are a pleasure to work with and have fair and honest pricing. "I used Andrew's Garage Door Repair.  The last time I used them it was not satisfactory.  They came in to look at the garage door and said he was going to replace the back motor.  That process took about 4 weeks.  They came out three times and the first two times were good.  The reason I signed up to Angie's List is because they give honest feedback.  He said he would be back in three days and he wasn't.  He did fix it finally.  I had to make a lot of phone calls and emails and reminders.  I didn't understand that, I mean, I paid him the money he was asking for.  So he came and he fixed it and it is working fine.  They were here April of 2016.  It cost $500."

"Initially not so well, garage door was installed but a lot of little things were overlooked. The job appeared to be rushed and I was concerned about the durability considering the install looked sketchy. I could go into details about the small things but they are not what is important.
I was not able to inspect the door until 2 weeks after install. After thoroughly going overall everything, I had a list of approximately 9 things that were unsatisfactory or just plain unacceptable.  I sent Amber Stoneberger an email with a list of my concerns and asked her to address them before I committed to writing a review here. Amber promptly responded and had Brian Stoneberger out to my house within two days. Brian arrived on time, and after explaining my issues, he apologized for the errors and never attempted to make any excuses. He immediately went to work to fix all the deficiencies.
This type of follow up and service is what I value in a company! They messed up, admitted the error, didn't make excuses, and promptly made the necessary changes and adjustments ensuring I was satisfied with the purchase.
