"The individual that did the consult was very knowledgeable and helpful. The work took 8 days. I would highly recommend just buying new cabinets. The mess after the sanding and install was more than I expected. Some of the cabinets were left with debris and a considerable amount of dust in them, the shelves were not sanded on the ends where they were cut, leaving splinters and the sawdust was in the stove, dishwasher, cabinets that were covered and in the adjoining room. The craftsmanship turned out nice but noticeable that the edges were resurfaced. Itâ s hard to resurface cabinets that are old. The new doors cover the refacing. I feel the pricing is way to high for this type of project."

"The in wall cabinet he built for me was one I wanted. It looks like it was always part of my kitchen. Beautiful work and he offered suggestions to make it better before we started the work."

"The service turned out great. I was happy to find I could reface the cabinets instead of having to replace them and saved a lot of money. The cabinets have held up very well. The technicians were efficient and completed the job in a timely manner. I had no problem scheduling the service."

"Fantastic, very easy to work with and will use them again."

"Tea and George are gifted artists and are extraordinary craftsman and craftswoman. The book shelves and cabinets they designed and built for the new extension to our house are beautiful and very functional. George’s particular attention to details and construction are evident in the completed project, even more so given the difficult space in which it was installed. Their professionalism and extraordinary care in the delivery and installation phase were greatly appreciated. We highly recommend Art Woodstone Studio."

"Paul Bender and his team do incredible work. Paul helped us remodel a number of bathrooms, from flooring, to decorative tile, new plumbing and lighting. Paul worked with us every step of the way. He was incredibly responsive, attentive to details, and oriented to ensure homeowners receive the best outcomes for their projects. All installers are professionals, arriving on time and cleaning workspaces each day, and communicate regularly with homeowners on status and plans. They are excellent crafts people and really excel at everything, but especially tile installation. The are real artists that pull together a plan that takes into consideration the nuances of your unique spaces. Paul offers creative ideas based on his years of experience. He has wonderful cabinet solutions that are stylish and made very well. His prices are fair and his customer service is outstanding. I would highly recommend Paul and the Tile Artisan for your bath or kitchen remodel."

"I was very pleased with the work and how the job turned out. I went to different places looking for the exact color scheme I wanted to match my cabinets. When measuring my kitchen the owner said he had the exact piece for me. I trusted his judgement ( tho I was nervous). The countertops were just right! After being in my house for over a year I am happier now than ever with my purchase. The guys that installed them were nice also."

"My cabinet installed also included new countertops and backsplash. They were on time and did excellent work. I have hired them since that project for three additional projects."

"This was a purchase of tile for the main bathroom (second of three bathrooms that needed complete reno). I am very fussy - want tile made in the U.S., want a certain look, and don't want beige. That makes it hard to find tile in my price range. Jud had a line that no one else in the area carries - McIntyre. I went over to look and found something I really liked. Overall the price was OK but the decorative pieces were super-expensive. We decided to take the plunge.
FYI, they have a nice selection; none of it is inexpensive.
We worked with Holly who was extremely nice and patient but I didn't have confidence that she really knew much about tile. As with the other high-end store we'd worked with for our downstairs bath, I ended up doing all the calculations myself. Very nerve-wracking when you are talking about custom tile and thousands of dollars.
Like the other high-end place, they charge for delivery which I find to be super-chintzy.
We did have one small problem (not Jud's fault) and Holly very promptly tried to resolve it for us but it turned out that the manufacturer doesn't make the kind of corner piece we needed. Also, our contractor was worried that the decorative pieces should not be used on the floor (big panic!) and Holly was able to get the answer from the manufacturer within a couple of hours.
All's well that end's well - the tile is gorgeous and our contractor was able to come up with a very creative solution for the two corner pieces.
