I would suggest another cabinet line, though our issue was handled superbly by Diane and Jeff. They were awesome and our kitchen is beautiful. "Our water was full of iron and left our toilets, showers, sinks, and even parts of washing machine orange. We have been dealing with this issue for many years and were sick of dealing with it. Recently, Bryan at Southeast Plumbing and Gas installed a water filtration system to our existing ( salt) water softener. It’s has been about 2 months now and so far the iron on any surfaces has not returned. Before the new system , the iron would have started to return within a few days. We are very satisfied with this new system so far and are looking forward to no more terrible iron or terrible smell. Our water also had a terrible sulfur , sometimes , metallic smell. Bryan said he could guarantee no iron in water once I had new filtration system installed but could not guarantee the odor would be gone. But he also told us that he felt that once he installed new filtration system that with the carbon filters that most probably the smell would go away or smell better. Well, he was right - the new filters took away the smell too, except in faucets that do not get used daily. Also, he thought he was going to have to add some parts to my system, but after checking my existing system , he told me that my system already had those parts on it-he could save me$200.00. I thanked him for being so honest. He could have pocketed the $200.00 and I wouldn’t have known that my system already had those parts. So he was very honest to tell me that and I really appreciated it!! We are very pleased with our new filtration system. Bryan did a great job and we appreciate all of his efforts to do his best for us to have a water system that gives us fresh smelling - no iron-good water!! He was very kind and respectful. "Did not go well. The brief plumbing inspection was something my husband and I do anyway. Turned on faucets and looked under cabinet to see if they leaked. The super deal cost $49 because it included a hot water heater flushing, the only real reason we hired them and paid for the “deal.” When time came to flush the heater, the nice young man said apologetically that they don’t usually flush heaters more than 10 years old because the sediment built up in the tank could cause clogs that they would not be liable for. Ours is 15 years old, so no flushing. I asked the young man to call his boss and tell him I didn’t feel I should pay for the flush that didn’t happen and THAT THE AD FOR THE DEAL DID NOT SPECIFY AGE OF TANK COULD PROHIBIT RISKY FLUSHING. The boss said I still needed to pay for the service call so I had to pay $39 for basically nothing since no flushing took place. The “inspection” took less than 10 minutes and as I said, consisted of turning faucet on and looking at pipe to see if it was dripping. I was taken advantage of by the boss. His ad was misleading or I would never have bought the “deal.” Angie’s List, you need to do a better job of vetting your “deals” to see if they are misleading!"

"James was responsive, courteous, and professional AND helped us diagnose - free of charge on a follow-up call - an ammonia smell related to our sealed crawlspace completely unrelated to the plumbing.  He even referred us to a new termite / pest / company (whom we have chosen to take over service following our purchase of the home).  He also checked our entire crawlspace for leaks or other issues that might have been missed by our inspector and provided a wealth of information on AAV valves, pressure regulators and anything else I could throw at him.  Perhaps the best part - James (a very experienced plumber) is the owner AND... does the work HIMSELF with a colleague in tow.  Touch 2 O faucets (this is our third in 3 homes in 3 years) can be a bit finicky and this install was completed without a hitch.  If you want the same experienced professional that QUOTES the job to also be the one to COMPLETE it, pick Gentile Plumbing!

"Wonderful. This is the 3rd time we have used Albert and they have done an excellent job every single time."

"They did a couple of things. One was moving a bathtub drain. I was not all that pleased with it. The other thing was a couple of sinks. I guess I had installed the main part of the sink, and they were to go up underneath there and put in the U trap and all that stuff. I was kind of not all that pleased either. Now, on the second part, some of that stuff that had not been found out about until later. What I had noticed when he was putting in the stuff underneath, he had to take loose the p trap, and it goes into the wall. Well, he had used a tool to cut out part of the wall where it goes back in there, so he can get his pipe wrench to go around the nut and what that did was it left a wider hole. I didn't notice that until just a few months ago, really. A neighbor was downstairs which is where the half bath is. I had some folks there. They had the crawl space open, and I had the little cabinet door open underneath there and I saw the light. I said, where is that light coming from? Like I said, he put the tool and widened the hole and failed to cover it back up with something. With the original tool of the p trap devices that was on there, there's a silver cover over the hole that covers. He wanted to use his stuff. He widened the hole a little bit and he didn't cover it back up, he left a hole there. Therefore insects and whatever can get through it. I didn't go behind there and check. I had purchased a big deal; part of it was that. Then, I paid an additional sum also, which I thought was too high, but I let it go. I actually started to complain about it later because I was pretty upset about the choices. I only had one or two plumbers, but nobody's ever had a problem cleaning a slow drain. he claimed he was afraid to use a larger tool because it may do some damage. Nobody else said anything close to that. I said, I called a couple of plumbers before and it was like a two-second job, they just take that tool put a little pressure down there and it was done. So, he's trying to do it basically like I would do it by taking a plunger, taking the contraptions off and plunging it. Nobody has ever tried that before. After he had left, I did some work on it myself and I got it working better than he had. Overall, I wouldn't give him no more than a "C". On responsiveness, I mean when I called them; they came within a reasonable time. I would kind of be hesitant to use them again."

"They were able to come out within a few days. When they got here they said the septic tank was too deep (>2ft) to hand dig and the ground makes it seem like there was a problem with the one of the lids. It took a about 1.5 week to get back with backhoe to dig and there was an extra cost for that. Initially I thought backhoe part was expensive, but did not have other quotes to compare it to. Pumping cost was comparable to others. They were careful when uncovering the tank so they would not damage the lids. Pumped out both sides of the tank. They warned me about the poor condition of the tank - but they didn't act like they were trying to upsell me a new tank or other services. Overall, I was very pleased and will call them the next time the tank needs to be pumped out."

Tony came out to complete the final measurements. They completed the countertop and sink installation in no time and my kitchen is beautiful.
