His crew showed up on time and went right to work. They were very friendly professional and respected our property. The installation went smoothly with no unexpected issues. They cleaned up the property each day and left it the way they found it. Any concerns I had were addressed and the roof looks great. We would highly recommend this company for your next project. "Mike and his team did an amazing job repairing the roof on my parents' brownstone in Brooklyn. The roof hadn't been replaced in many years, and we were experiencing leaks. They were able to strip the roof down to the beams, repair the foundation (including replacing a few rotted beams), and install a new roof in just three days! They were true professionals throughout the entire process. Communication was excellent from the start, so we knew exactly what to expect—materials for the roof, arrival times, and the estimated completion timeline. "Jose from Santamaria Roofing proved to be a true gentleman, he kept his word and his contract by showing up when he said he would, doing an amazing job, leaving my home looking better then it did at the start and took all trash & garbage with him. I had Santamaria do gutters on 2 houses, flashing on my chimney, as well as replace some pitted aluminum trim on my home. I will be having him back in the fall to redo more of my aluminum trim. He showed up with 7 guys and they all went straight to the project I guess was assigned before they arrived. Great crew, under a great boss! The most amazing thing was for someone so professional to have underbid by 30% the next bid and still come and do quality installations. This has restored my faith that there are Great contractors still out there, and Jose with Santamaria roofing is one of them. Hire these guys and you will have no headaches!"

"Siding is beautiful. Gutters are nice. Our 2 day job took 2 weeks to complete. During install an exterior electrical box needed to be maneuvered so Siding could go behind it. This threw off electrical to a building that was tied to that outlet. No response from the warranty team other than pay an electrician to fix us and forward the bill for reimbursement. I asked for this in writing and got nothing. The gutter pitch is off and we were guaranteed it would be fixed with the installation of the new gutters. It was not and water drains directly onto an electrical outlet. The warranty dept is radio silent. The billing team was very quick to send us reminders, the bill, and more reminders."

"Excellent experience. George (the owner) was on time. He sent a text confirming his arrival time. Equipment was appropriate for a residence. My home is 50 years old but was renovated including vinyl siding 20 years ago. Was looking like 20 year old siding. Now looks new. George also power washed the concrete around the pool. The pool is under some trees in one spot and was showing that. Also, you could tell where the cover was during the winter months. Well that’s now one uniform color and looks perfect. I highly recommend Best Buds. I was happy to get the owner to my home. George takes pride in delivering excellent services. Easy to recommend to others."

"Estimate was fair, came down 5% on the price for senior citizen. We were delayed for a while due to weather constantly backing up their calendar. One guy performed the work and it took a few hours. Installer was clean and arrived promptly. My only objections are these: we ended up paying a higher price because the installer believed we needed an extra downspout or two, and he was also able to equip a part of the roof with a gutter and downspout that was previously left out because it would be too difficult to equip it with a gutter. Installer could do it and it cost extra. Finally, when the installation above my deck was happening, the roof can actually be reached by hand because it's not too high. Even with a ladder I watched as the tech stood on the railing of my brand new deck to reach something, right beside his assembled ladder. As a result of this I think he may have damaged a spindle because it is bent. I see this as negligent and disrespectful, he used a ladder for 99% of the job except for one corner perfectly accessible. Great reviews on Angie's list is why I chose him. Ilene in the Babylon office is very nice and flexible. I'd still recommend although I'll be taking up the deck issue with the owner, Gary."
