"Frank was the best! Called him on a Sunday night, was at my house the next day. Cleared out tons or roots from my sewer line. Nice clean work, showed me everything he did as well. Super professional!!!"

"It has been said that the judge of a civilization by how it discards their, er, "liquid wastes." When that liquid waste was not flowing properly in the basement of my 120+ year old home, I was very concerned that this would be the downfall of the civilization, at least by how it is constituted in my home. So when Pasquale showed up and with his magic "snake camera" revealed that the sewer pipe under my basement had collapsed, I was VERY concerned. I had visions of raw sewage flooding my basement and workers digging something akin to the Panama Canal in my basement - you know: dirt! As it turned out, Pasquale runs an operation that runs very smoothly: he and his crew came out on a Friday morning at 8:30 am (on the dot!) and started taking up the concrete in my basement (it was a trench about 3 feet wide and 4 feet deep.) They had to move a lot of shelves out of the room where the digging was taking place, and they were careful when doing so. Pasquale estimated it would take a week to complete the work, but this dude underpromises and overdelivers: it took 3 long days of work (they generally worked from 8:30 am to about 4 pm and they DON'T take 2 hour "lunch breaks.") Since most of this work took place on a weekend (Friday - Sunday), I expected that I probably paid extra, but not having a working sewage line was not an option for me and my tenants. In the end Pasquale and his colleagues did a beautiful job (however "beautiful" installing a new sewer pipe could be.) I can now get a good night's sleep knowing that Pasquale guaranteed that this pipe will last until 2122, which works out to be about $150/year. Would you pay that much to know that your sewage pipe won't back up again? I used to pay $250/year to have this cruddy old pipe cleaned, so I not only do I sleep better at night (easily worth the 41¢ per night), but it's one less thing I have to worry about in this old house. Postscript: About a week after they finished, a small pipe developed a leak which may or may not have been caused by the work done. Pasquale was arrived within an hour and fixed it in about 15 minutes. Good plumbers are hard to find: they try to sell you unnecessary work, or don't show up to work, or show up late, or do part of the job, then disappear for a few days or weeks, or they just do cruddy work. P & A is an amazing company, and show that our civilization still has good people around to take care of our sewage."

"Done-Rite came in and saved the day. We had our bathroom renovated about 8 months ago including changing the bathtub to a full walk in shower with a mosaic tile floor. We wound up firing the first contractor because of numerous problems. We thought everything was good after the second contractor finished only to have numerous leaks in the bathroom 8 months later. After searching Anglie's List for a contractor and interviewing a few, we decided on Done-Rite. Done-Rate responded very timely. Dan knew right away what to do. He had to breakup a lot of what the other contractors did including part of the tile floor, the mosaic tile in the floor of the shower along with the subfloor, and part of the tile on the wall of the shower. He had to remove and put aside the toilet bowl and the shower doors. Dan installed a new shower base and had to relocate the drain from center to right to accommodate the set up of the new shower base. He also replaced all the tiles on the floor and walls and relocated the shower and handle to line up with the drain in the shower base. Dan also had to remove and reinstall a lot of sheetrock/wonderboard in the shower area due to mold and treated the area accordingly and paint where necessary. He reinstalled the toilet bowl and reinstalled the shower doors which was very detailed and intricate. Dan and John started promptly everyday including working on a Saturday to complete the job. The job was completed timely. Dan and John have great communication skills and respect for our home. To me, Dan and John did the work in our home as if they were working in their own home and made sure they cleaned up every night especially at the conclusion of the job. I would highly recommend Done-Rite. Their prices are fair and they go above and beyond to satisfy their customers. I will definitely call them again, as a matter of fact, I just did for a problem in our kitchen."

"Had a leaking kitchen faucet that had been dripping for weeks. He arrived on time, quickly figured out the cause, and replaced the worn parts without trying to upsell anything. The work was done neatly, the price was fair, and the faucet has been working perfectly ever since. Professional, courteous, and reliable. I would definitely use his services again."

FAQs for drain line breakage camera locate projects in Staten Island, NY

French drain repairs generally include cleaning to remove clogs or replacing damaged pipes. Drain cleaning costs between $150 and $200 per hour. If replacement is necessary, the cost to install a French drain can run up to $5,000, depending on its type and location.

Trenchless sewer replacement costs between $60 and $250 per foot but is usually not an option for interior plumbing lines. Plumbers typically only use this approach for outside sewer pipes.

Unless you can see a clog through a drain or cracked pipe under a sink, you may be unable to identify its location. To find the problem, your plumber may test your water pressure at specific points or use a sewer camera.

Common signs that a drain pipe requires repair include slowly draining water, backups, regular clogs, strange gurgling sounds, or foul odors from the drain. Also, contact a plumber if you can see rust or oxidation on a drain pipe under the sink or in the basement.

The cost to repair a sink drain pipe can be as low as $100, covering the cost of a plumber’s labor for one to two hours. If the pipe needs to be replaced or is difficult to access, costs could climb up to $500.
