"I was very pleased with the service I got from Q&A Appliance Repair. I have a very old chrome Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator. It still works so why spend $2000 for a new one. The icemaker stopped working about six months ago and I ignored it til about a week ago when the heat made me focus on the fact that I did not have one. Q&A was very responsive and set up a diagnosis appointment. I was impressed with their staff who took the time to go online, get the original brochure, and proceeded to test the pieces of the icemaker in order to properly diagnose the program. While I thought that the water line needed to be replaced, it turned out that the icemaker motor had died (after 20-plus years that's acceptable). I rec'd a very reasonable quote and an appointment to replace the motor was set for a few days hence. Within a few hours, I had ice again in my freezer! "I was extremely pleased with the TV mounting services provided by Mark of HandyMark DMV LLC. He was experienced, articulate, and professional. He responded to my emails promptly and answered my landlordâ s questions as well as mine. He arrived on time for our appointments wearing a mask to prevent the spread of Covid-19, paper booties to keep the carpet clean, and carrying a vacuum cleaner. I asked Mark to install a Mantel Mount MM 540 Enhanced TV mount over the fireplace mantel. This is a complicated mount which can be tilted, swiveled, and lowered below the mantel shelf. The job didnâ t proceed as according to plan. Within the first 15 minutes, Mark determined that there was a cinderblock wall instead of vertical studs where I wanted him to hang the mount. Fortunately, he was able to quickly figure out an alternative approach. Additionally, he took his time testing and adjusting the tilt, swivel, and lowering mechanisms. Mark saved me money when he recommended that I not hide the wires behind the wall since it wasn't cost-effective to pay him to run them through cinder block. I thought that the price that he charged was extremely fair. I also appreciated his willingness to identify and mark studs so I could hang up my artwork."
