"Mottern did a fantastic job designing and installing a large flagstone-on-concrete patio for us. The work included excavating and leveling the site, pouring and re-enforcing the slab, and selecting and purchasing the stone, brick and other materials. In addition to the patio, Mottern also filled in an approx. 12 sq/ft section of brick wall where a door had been converted to a window. The filled-in brick and mortar matches the original 50-year old wall perfectly. Overall, the entire Mottern crew was prompt, responsive, professional, and very skillful. We would definitely use Mottern again."

"Lily and her crew did an amazing job re-landscaping our backyard. The previous homeowners had an unsightly mix of bushes and shrubs, a brick wall that cut into the usable yard space, and stone/rock work that didn’t match the brick patio. Lily and her team removed everything, fixed the area where the patio had been damaged by a neighboring tree, laid a new brick path matching the existing patio, and plant new ground cover in the yard. Lily listened to exactly what we talked envisioned and made it happen!! Our yard looks amazing and we couldn’t be happier. The price was also very reasonable and the work was done promptly. "Great! Delays in materials were handled appropriately and he was flexible to handle additional needs on the fly. I will tell you that these guys are more expensive than his competitors we interviewed but in the end, good work isn’t cheap and cheap work isn’t good. This was well worth the investment. The retaining wall exceeded expectations and the patio design was exactly like how we imagined it. Elijah did a good job explaining the options to us multiple times onsite before we cut a check. And Victor, his foreman, was great to have onsite daily so we could ask questions, make minor adjustments on the fly and they cleaned up the site well after they were done. Definitely will be using them again for our stairs and other work."

"We hired Diversified Contractors to install a new patio, walkway and retaining wall at our home during the summer of 2017. The job consisted of removing an existing concrete patio and then installing a new patio and a 60-foot walkway using Westchester pavers. In addition, a 25-foot retaining wall incorporating a new PVC drainage system was installed under an existing deck. The job required a significant amount of landscaping and regrading of our backyard. Diversified Contractors completed the work on schedule and the men who performed the installation were courteous, professional and excellent craftsmen.
