"The project was done and completed Oct. 19. We had 2 low flow urinals installed in our Church restroom. Mike was very efficient and the job was done. Had to call him again 2 days later to check on a leak which he explained had something to do with the building's old rusty pipes. I agree with him. They did what they can and we just hope the pipes hold until we are ready to replace them."

"We were having water leakage outside the shower door. The water formed only after the shower was running. Mifkis removed the shower valve and checked the water line and there was no evidence of any ldripping. At this point the only option was to break into the wall near the leak. Mifkis noticed that there were gaps in the grout inside the shower near the area where the leak was. So he patched those areas. We haven’t experienced any further problems. I think most plumbers would ‘t have even noticed the gaps and would have taken the more expensive option. We highly recommend Mifkis and would not hesitate to use him again"

"James Craig of Team Rooter came to our house within two hours, and cleaned out the drain line through an exterior clean out. Then he discovered the drip came from a galvanize pipe as old as our house. The threads on both end of the short pipe section had rusted through. The job took James twice as long due to poor access under the bar, but he did it for the price quoted. He was very professional and knowledgeable, and cleaned up the entire area when he was done. Great plumber!"

"After contacting Overland Plumbing, they had sent a plumber out the next day within the time window they promised. It was for a very old and leaky exterior water faucet, so it became apparent it was not going to be a simple replacement. But the plumber was able to remove the old and fit a new faucet in its place, and patched the area around the wall. And the price was very reasonable. I"

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Stevenson Ranch, CA

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
