"Dan was a little late but called early to let us know he was on another call. He arrived at the time he stated he would be here. My gas stove did not ignite so he fixed that and another burner that had a very high flame. <br /> Work was completed within a half hour because of Dan's experience and his manner was that of a professional. He charged his normal rate of $65.00 to make a house call, leaving the expense of the repair at $10.00. <br /> We were more than pleased and will call Dan's Appliances any time we have a problem in the future. I believe him to be honest and conciencious. <br /> I cannot recommend this man highly enough! <br />"

"The technician arrived on time.  He spent quite a lot of time working on the furnace. He also installed the replacement electronic air cleaner filter I had on hand.  Then he worked on the A/C unit.  When he was all done he called me to the exhaust pipe outside and informed me that the CO emissions from the furnace were too high and that meant the heat exchanger on my furnace was cracked.  He said that legally he could not allow me to use the furnace any more so he had to disable it.  I don't doubt that the furnace needs to be replaced given its age and the fact that this furnace has a history of issues with the heat exchanger.  However, I object to being charged for the tune up on the furnace only to be told I can no longer use it.  Knowing the age and issues with this furnace, it seems he could have checked the CO emissions before spending time to clean and tune the furnace. <br />"
