"The installation of the door was done well; however, the work area was not adequately protected (no floor protection) and a crowbar was dropped on my new hardwood floor and put a gash in the floor. There was also a communication issue between the sales department and the installers on putting on new break metal around the outside of the door. Yes I would use them again but I would confirm everything with the installers before the start and I would make sure they prep the area to protect the property."

I entered the information of what I was looking for and I got a quote right away from the owner and a phone call to answer any further questions I may have had. A few weather-related hiccups, but the work was done in and around snow, freezing or not, and finished before Christmas (and well before our insurance deadline). "When American Jewel installed the door I gave them A grades as I thought they did an excellent job.  But after using the door for a few weeks I noticed the dead bolt didn't close completely, but only about 2/3, and also noticed the screen door was no longer aligned properly, so although it closed and looked right, the door was slightly off and it would no longer lock.  I called American Jewel and they scheduled the installer to return and make the minor corrections.  The installer did not show up.  When I called American Jewel again, they did not return my calls. I complained to Angie's List, and via their complaint resolution process American Jewel contacted me.  They were very apologetic and attributed it to a mix up, accepted responsibility and sent the installer to my home to make the minor corrections.  I would use American Jewel again, despite this hiccup, as my wife and I like the door they installed, feel we received excellent value, and ultimately American Jewel followed through on the minor problems I described and corrected them all."

"Jonathan was extremely prompt. He was at my home within days to discus the job. When my wife and I decided to have the project done, J & F Construction returned shortly to complete the project. They cleaned up the site when the project was completed. They cleaned up the site when they were done. The completed job looks great. It is just what we wanted!"

"Roy was very helpful with the quotes and ordering. Which included, a new door, storm door as well as new deadbolts installed throughout. It was nice to have a company that did not feel the need to sell us a new door and suggested simply repairing the existing as it could be easier fixed. The order did take longer than anticipated to receive, and I had to follow-up with Roy on several occasions in order to get a status which was slightly disappointing. When it came scheduling, they were very busy and took several phone calls before I was finally able to reach the installer and get it scheduled. Slightly frustrating since i also work in the customer field I really expect a company to be on top of things like this. On the day of the install, the installer backed into our newly cut maple tree(and paid for) and took a few significant branches. I will say that they were kind in providing us with a discount for the trouble, but it was still frustrating all the same. I was originally quoted one day for the work to be completed, it ended up taking almost two days. Their quality of work with the door and all items was really great. The hardware was sturdy and everything was really nice quality."

Lo and behold, as we had appointments with other roofers in our area, a salesman (Bryan) was dropping off door hangers. We immediately called and Bryan came back to take pictures, let us know what the process would be like, and how to go about starting a claim with our homeowners insurance since we had significant wind and hail damage. We didn't know that was a thing, and--what luck!--our insurance covered the entire install, including materials and labor. We wouldn't have known about the insurance bit without Bryan. We would've delayed a much-needed roof until we had enough money saved without Bryan. We wouldn't have known about C3 without Bryan. So we have to say, we're beyond impressed with C3 and their work, but mostly Bryan!
