"Big Mistake!They assured us that they would pull a permit (for which they charged us) but never did, they did demolition on a Monday, and did not pour until the following Monday, stating they had no access to concrete.When the bid was given, we were told it would be a two day process, demo and pour. Not at all the case. Also, had much difficulty in having them move two sprinkler heads for landscaping that we were to do. The technicians were too busy having a chat session with each other and therefore it took well over two hours for a job that they bid out at 1 hour. And then, didn't even complete the entire project.Made several calls, emails etc to the company expressing our concerns and wanting either a permit or reimbursement thereof and were never called back or given any type of assistance with our concerns."

"I first used Piper last fall (2011) to winterize my sprinkler system.  Everything went great.  I called Piper again this spring (2012) to start up my system.  The work was done well, but the technician was 40 minutes late on a workday morning and never called to let me know he was running behind.  I set up another appointment in June 2012 to fix a couple leaks and install a pressure reducer.  Piper gave me a window of 1-3 pm.  When the technician did not show by 3 pm, I left a message complaining.  I finally received a call at 4:15 pm from Joe and had to reschedule. <br /> This company seems to do good work, but their constant tardiness is very inconsiderate and frustrating.  It's bad enough that they won't make an appointment and instead schedule a window like the cable company.  It's worse that they don't call you when they are running behind.  Moreover, when you call their office, you never get a live person.  You always get an answering machine and therefore can't find out when the technician will arrive.  Piper apparently thinks its time is more valuable than its customers'.  This company used to get good reviews.  I hope Piper reads all the recent reviews complaining about tardiness and gets its act together."

"My sprinkler company neglected to turn off one valve in my front yard in their "winterization" service. This caused water to freeze the burst a pipe in my front yard. <br />I could not get the leak under control. <br />A Perfect Plumber had a person out to my house quickly and within 5 minutes of arriving he figured out that the sprinkler valve was left open. <br />I assumed I would be charged a lot for the call but he charged me less than my water district was going to charge just to come shut off the water to my property. <br />"
