"Rob and Alex were there when they promised they would be. They had a tough job with our house. It is a challenge to most all contractors. They worked diligently and got the job done, even though it took way longer than necessary. They were friendly, and kept me informed all of the way. They were even very flexible when my husband and they had a miscommunication about where to put the new outlet. They cleaned up after themselves. It didn't even look like anyone had been working in my house all day. Very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend them to anyone needing electrical work done."

"I Called Joe on 3/17/2015 and asked if he would have a look at my old hot tub and let me know if he thought it would be wise to have it repaired or replaced. He returned my call that same day and said he could come by the next day. He called promptly the next day, came out and inspected my tub. He honestly told me that he could repair my hot tub but the cost would outweigh the usefulness. We agreed on having him unhook and take the old tub away. He took care of the electrical hook up and removed the tub from my deck, did an excellent cleanup, and made sure I was happy with his work before he left. Great service and I would recommend him to anyone who has a hot tub or spa.

"This was the second time I've hired Joel Thomas as an exterior painter, and I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family. Mr. Thomas returned my call within a day and gave me a lower estimate than I expected by the next day (same price as five years ago). He painted samples on two areas of my house so I could decide what I liked best, and he bought the paint brand and texture I chose. He returned my calls promtly and he and his helper, Robert, were always courteous, flexible, and professional. They did neat and careful work without drips on the brick or damage to my landscaping. Mr. Thomas sprayed the house and also resprayed and hand painted rougher areas in the cedar so that the coverage was uniform and thorough. He did this without my asking him. The spray washing was completed within a week and the actual painting by the next week, over a few days' time despite dangerously high temperatures. A few grace notes, I was worried about my dog getting loose; but every day the latch had been securely shut on the back gate. The painters also moved the outside furniture back onto the porches when they were done, even though I had moved it off myself before the job started."

"Joe Patchon of PSI did a great job for me. I had two electrical issues - a non-working porch light, and some dead outlets in my basement storage area. The porch required some diagnosis, as not only was there a bad switch, but a poorly connected neutral line - something I could have never found. Quickly diagnosed and repaired. The second item Joe diagnosed that was something I should have found, but didn't know all the diagnosis paths to follow. A somewhat hidden GFI circuit was the culprit, an outlet I never knew I had in that room, since I've only owned the home for a year. Joe reset the GFI, and I was back in business - Before that, I figured I must have had a wiring problem in the wall or something. He resolved my problems at a great, very fair price. Very personable and knowledgeable electrician, with 30 years experience in his field of expertise. I'll use him again!"

"Our brick ranch house was in need of TLC on the old fiber board siding, which my wife and I have painted four times ourselves. We wanted to make the exterior maintenance free with a good quality vinyl siding. We contacted five separate companies, four of which were listed in Angie’s list, to get estimates. We chose The Home Improvement Co. They were neither the highest nor the lowest estimate. We based our decision on the reviews in Angie’s list, pictures of the work that had been accomplished on other jobs, and Matt’s straight forward honest presentation. Matt convinced us that one of the most important details of this work is an experienced crew that knows how to work with the material. We had chosen the insulated backed vinyl siding. The crew (Kevin and Rueben) and Matt arrived Friday and started the demolition on the west side of the house. We were having all the old siding removed and replaced with new board, moisture barrier, and the vinyl siding. They completed that side including cleanup in one day. The whole job was completed by the following Friday. The crew was great. They were friendly and professional, and they worked well together as a team. They answered any question we had and honored any request we made. They also wrapped all the windows and doors with aluminum coil. They transformed the exterior of our home. We are completely satisfied. We comment to each other every time we pull into the driveway how good our home looks now. We still plan on replacement windows and a new back door.
