"Roto-Rooter was the only plumbing company I have ever had to call. The technician responded that same day. He was very professional, and got right to work, explaining what he was doing as he went. It made quite a mess when he used the auger to clear the blockage, much more than a "normal" clog would, because the line was plugged with instant mashed potatoes (Now I know not to do that again). In the end he had to come back with a special tool to clean out the drain, but it worked and the sink is as good as new now. The "B" for quality was because it made a horrible mess when he used the drain auger on the line. He cleaned most of it up, but left more than I should have expected for me to clean after he had gone. Also, the price was at the high end of what the price guide said to expect, even after he gave me a discount for having to leave and come back the next day."

Scheduled appointment for early the next morning. He arrived on time. He had to wrestle with the old pipe/sink (1970's vintage) but got the repair done fairly quickly, with absolutely no mess or inconvenience to us. Very friendly, but business-like and focused on the job. Brought all the parts he needed, left us the old parts so we could see what he had repaired. That initial repair went so quickly that I asked him to take a look at a very slow drain in one of our bathrooms that had been a constant bother. He took care of that with no problem.
