"Great. Atomic Plumbing's Jim Miller showed up during the scheduled maintenance window. We talked about the problem of the clogged pipe, and then he looked at a few things. Then he explained to me what was going, and why. My drainage pipe from the washing machine was smaller than it should have been. I could replace it, and other pipes under the house, or get it snaked out and cleaned out for now. I choose just the snake procedure. He was very thorough and meticulous as he drained the water from my deep sink and then undid the drain plug on the pipe, and proceeded to snake the pipe. Once done, he tested the drainage of the pipe with a full washing machine of water. It passed the test! I was very happy everything went as he said it would. Jim is also a funny guy, as he was working and we talked, he had some stories he told me, that I thought were quite hilarious. Bottom line, I am extremely happy with the job he performed at the price stated. I would not hesitate to recommend Jim, and Atomic plumbing if some one asked me about knowing a good plumber. I know if I have another plumbing problem, I will be calling Atomic Plumbers again. Thanks Jim!"

"I am very pleased with the job Awesome Drain cleaning and Waterline Repair did fixing my bathtub drain and faucet leak problem. I had 2 other plumbers before Awesome and they couldn't fix it, I thought I was going to forever have to stand in dirty water while I took a shower b/c it drains so slow! But Judeah went above and beyond, running all over for the right parts, and since this is a 100 year old house it wasn't easy with these old pipes but the drain and the leak are good as new now! Plus he was so kind, patient, and had a good sense of humor he never seemed frustrated. I can confidently recommend Awesome Plumbing, they did an awesome job!"

"Absolutely the best, most reasonable plumbing service on the Peninsula. We have used his services before, and he always does an outstanding job. Last September, our very picky tenants complained the downstairs toilet was overflowing. Guy discovered the sewer line was full of non-flushable baby wipes. He recommended a high pressure toilet replacement to avoid future problems, as the bathroom is on a slab foundation. He also ran a water line half-way around the entire kitchen to the ice maker, and ensured it was fully operational. Highly recommend this very competent and congenial professional!"

"Excellent Service!
Mike and his team came by the day I contacted him to give me an estimate for both the plumbing and wall repair, and the replacement of all ten shutters on my house.  On the day of scheduled service, Mike called when he was on the way, and then expediciously performed all discussed repairs.  Mike and his team even expertly blended the texture of my painted wall.  He made sure the work was done to my satisfaction.  I will definitely call Mike when I need repairs or decide to remodel.

FAQs for drain line breakage camera locate projects in Suffolk, VA

During the inspection, you’ll watch a high-definition video feed that shows exactly what’s going on inside the pipe—everything from minor buildup to major cracks. Your plumber pauses the footage to explain what you’re seeing and why it matters. Bright lights and self-leveling cameras make sure each section is captured clearly, so you leave with a complete picture of your sewer’s health.

Most professionals complete a standard sewer camera inspection in an hour. That window covers setting up the gear, guiding the camera through the line, and reviewing the footage with you. If your house lacks a cleanout and the technician needs to pull a toilet or access a vent stack, tack on a little extra time—and cost—for that added work.

Yes, a sewer camera inspection can help you identify septic system problems. A sewer camera gives your pro a live view of the pipes leading to the septic tank, so they can spot blockages, corrosion, leaks, or other red flags without guesswork. Pinpointing the problem quickly means you can plan the right repair and keep the entire septic system running smoothly.
