Mike cured water intrusion in breezeway ceiling & repaired rotted joists/beams & beadboard planking. Two of our interior stairwells needed banisters, which Mike had fabricated to match others in our 1932-built home. Finished items were outrageous. Not the lowest bidder, but worth every penny to have every service completed on schedule & PERFECTLY!"

"I needed a lot of work and repairs done in my house. I called and met with Harvey about what I wanted to be done in my home, and two days later, the work was being conducted on my house. The significant items were that I needed new basement steps, and Harvey and his crew rebuilt all the steps and railings. I had my bathroom grouted, caulked, and repaired. I needed my kitchen to be refreshed and a new kitchen floor. In addition, the kitchen, dining room, lower and upstairs hallway, and living room were in need of repair and needed to be painted. I had my entire windows repaired and corked from the inside and the outside. Harvey and his men were very professional, polite, and extremely hardworking. They showed up every day on time and worked diligently through the day. Harvey offered good ideas and suggestions on my home improvements and repairs. I was thrilled by the outcome and the quality of their work. I would highly recommend them, and I plan to use them in the future."

"Waxtel LLC did a major renovation on my co-op on Sutton Place South. The renovations included new bathrooms, new kitchen, painting, floor restoration and a host of other repairs and renovations. The Company is excellent and I would highly recommend them. Besides the excellent workmanship, the owner, Dave Waxtel, was extremely responsive to all issues. I have dealt with contractors many times, and I would say Waxtel is the best one I have ever used. Moreover, the price was reasonable and fair. You will not be disappointed if you hire them. "We could not be happier with the work performed by Grant, Keith and their team. They were professional throughout the entire process from quote to clean up. The main reason for this project was that our roof had had leaks and ice damming for quite a few years. A previous contractor had done substandard repairs to our chimney after hurricane damage, and the flashing leaked ever since that work was done. We got quotes for the roof repair from three contractors, and Built Well provided the most detailed and cost-effective quote of the three. Because of their professionalism we also had them replace our cedar shingle siding, which was dried and damaged. One really nice touch was that we had a really ugly central air conditioning pipe going up the side of the house, clad in a downpipe. Built Well opened up the wall sheathing and hid that piping inside the wall -- what a difference! The team went the extra mile, paying special attention to some of the finer details of the trim work. I wish i could add photos to this review, because the house is beautiful (with a roof that no longer leaks!). I would not hesitate to recommend Grant and Keith, and will work with them if ever I need any other major work done to the house."

"We searched a long time to find a company we felt comfortable with and that matched our needs. We believe we found this with Wilbur’s Home Improvements. Everyone we dealt with from the office staff:Julie, Mary, Diana, Silvia and Jessenia, the estimators: Carlos and Jose, the mason: Erik and the work crew: Nolvy, Orlando and Edgar was professional, polite and punctual. I apologize if I forget anyone’s name or left anyone out. All work was done in a timely manner. They arrived early and stayed late 6 days a week and also straightened and cleaned up everything before leaving. They not only protected our house during the work, but our neighbors house as well , even power washing it at the end. (Very generous of them because I wouldn’t have included them, but that’s just me. lol) We had several compliments from neighbors, a few who wanted to hire them on the spot. Overall, we are very, very happy and satisfied with the end results and definitely plan on working with them again. We have lots of projects that need to be done. We will certainly recommend them to anyone in need of home improvements from a company who does quality work."
