"I needed to get a hole drilled for a instant hot water dispenser and a nickel sized chip fixed and had been procrastinating for months... what company would want to come out and do such a small task? I reviewed angieslist and found Puget Sound Stone Repair and put a call into them. Todd called back and offered to come out a few days later on a Saturday to do the repair and drill the hole at a rate of $150 per hour. He felt it wouldn't take much longer than an hour (which it didn't). Communication was good, he was running a bit late but called to tell me which was great. The repair looks fantastic... if you didn't know it was there you wouldn't even see it and I am enjoying the hot water (and chilled water) dispenser installed in the 1.5" hole he drilled. Overall very satisfied and would use Puget Sound Stone Repair again in the future."

"I emailed Kristin to arrange for a day/time to install my holiday lighting after buying the Big Deal but didn't hear back for several days so I called Kristin. The reason my email was not answered was a glitch in the email system, but when I spoke to Kristin on the phone she was able to schedule a date/time for installation. The lighting was installed, but several strands did not go on. I called Kristin to report the problem and she kindly arranged for Nick and another gentleman to come back to my house to troubleshoot. Turned out that too many strands had been connected on one area of the house, so after they fixed the the problem, all the lights went on. Nick and the other gentleman were very nice and helpful in figuring out why several light strings had not gone on. The lighting is beautiful and I'm very happy with it. Aegis worked hard to make sure I was happy with their service and I appreciate their professionalism.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"The technician arrived on time and was very professional. However, he arrived without the fan for the Big Deal we purchased. His office hadn't mentioned that he was to install the attic fan. He told us that what was listed on the Angie's big deal picture was not the attic fan he could install anyway. We had also wanted to have two ceiling fans installed but again his office hadn't mentioned that to him so he didn't have the necessary braces for them. We opted not to have them install the ceiling fans at a later date."
