"The first red flag is representing himself as Steve Perez on Angi’s list when in fact his name is Ziv. There’s the hard sell and false promises (finish a kitchen remodel in 5-6 weeks) when it took 4 months. Unprofessionalism is an understatement. He communicates through texting like a teenager and screams at the client when in fact errors are his fault or his sub-contractors. We provided appliance specs very early in the process and the electrician still made errors for which Ziv wanted us to pay for. The cabinets delivered were incomplete which he blamed on us. He demanded a final payment and threatened to put a lean on our house when the work was incomplete per the contract. Then Subs starting calling demanding payment which was resolved after we provided cashed checks to Sonart Construction. Don’t believe what I say. Read the BBB review complaints for a well-deserved F rating."

I've never run faster to the computer to complete a review like I did this morning. A few weeks ago, I noticed my main garage door seemed to be a little sluggish when it was opened or closed. Several friends and neighbors suggested calling Master Garage Door because they all had excellent experiences with their team. When I called the office, the receptionist was very nice and able to find an appointment despite my chaotic schedule. This morning, I received a call to let me know the team would be able to arrive a little earlier than my appointment. Joshua was amazing! He noticed the problem right away and explained how it could've possibly happened, as well as ways to prevent it from reoccurring. I mentioned that my second garage door was not responding to a remote and in a matter of seconds, he was able to provide me with a new remote. Joshua also quickly programmed the buttons in my car to open that door. I am overwhelmed with the professionalism and respect that Joshua showed during my appointment. At our previous home, we had a terrible experience with another garage door company that used multiple scare tactics to oversell me on repairs. Master Garage Door is unlike any other company I've hired and will be the ONLY one I call and refer family/friends/strangers to when their garage needs some attention. "I sent a message via Angies List to a group of potential service companies and got an almost immediate response from Keith. After talking over the phone he indicated what the issue might be and asked me to send him photos of the problem to his cell phone so he could confirm. He explained that the issue was a quick fix to put a retaining bracket in place but that there may be other underlying issues that would need to be addressed which they would only know once they came out to the house to look at the problem. I set up an appointment with Jason for the following day and he texted me when he was en route and arrived right on time. He confirmed the problem and said he could fix it, then gave me some other issues that I should consider. I liked the fact that he was fine with just doing the basic fix and there was no pressure to do the extra work, just recommendations. I decided to resolve the issues properly and spent the extra money to replace some quite old springs and end pieces. Everything works great now. Jason was very professional and personable and a quick worker, I would definitely hire again."
