When some black grout stained some white woodwork in the hall, they sent out a painter to repaint! when a clock and towel bar in the bathroom was to be rehung on very expensive glass tile, they sent out a technician to drill and do the install (perfectly, I will add!). When an install on a lighting fixture resulted in a hole in the drywall (not Carifa's fault) they immediately sent out a handy man to re-spackle and repair the hole! What more could you want. "When removing the toilet to remodel my bathrrom, several tiles came up with it.  The floor was original to the house (68 yrs old) with a cement subfloor.   Since this is the only bathroom in the house, Dan agreed to start the job on Saturday.  I bought my own tiles and they completed removing the rest of the floor, applied two layers of leveler, layed the new tile and grouted.  It took four days.  When the rest of the remodeling was done they came back and reinstalled the toilet.  They were always punctual and very curtious.  Every tile cut was perfect!  The floor looks AMAZING!  I would recommend them to everyone who needs a reputable company that knows what they are doing."

"Overall it went very well.  The hardest part was choosing the sink and faucets to go with the countertops. I did the tear out of the old laminate countertop and faucet and they did the rest.  There were no unexpected surprises and no installation problems.  Courtney was fabulous helping my wife and would email pictures of the granite to us at home so we could decide on color.  She was very polite and friendly.  Vince was very helpful on how to tear out the old countertop and had some very helpful suggestions for the kitchen to enhance the granite look.

"We worked with Nancy in the store on tile selection and Rick on estimates. They were both very helpful, offering good suggestions. They accomodated our wish to do the carpet & vinyl flooring at separate times to reduce the disruption. Family Room carpet was installed in one day. Rick's original estimate was to remove all the old flooring, but Nick & he agreed that installation over top of the existing flooring was the better approach. This saved us $750 from the original estimate. Nick & Taylor started the vinyl installation on Monday, doing the prep-work through laying the plywood base. On Wednesday, Nick discovered that most of the vinyl product was defective and stopped the installation even though the glue was already on the Kitchen floor. He explained the issue to us. Nancy & Rick became involved immediately working with their supplier to obtain replacement tiles (from Cincinnati). They insisted that the supplier inspect all tiles in all boxes before shipping. This resulted in a full day's delay of the installation and caused Nick & Taylor to have to remove most of the Kitchen plywood and start over. They did this without complaint or hesitation by anyone at Affordable. The replacement tiles were available early Friday morning and a third installer came in to help, completing the entire project that same week, on the original schedule! We've had one follow-up with minor grouting work, which was completed. We are very satisfied with the work and the dedication to doing the installation correctly with quality product! One of the best things about this company is that you're talking with the same people every time and they are all committed to quality work."
