"Saved by Ehrhardt Brothers Quality Plumbing (a.k.a ColumbiaPlumber)! (West of Baltimore) Our gas water-heater failed! It’s 30° outside! (Mar 2026). It was leaking, so we shut off the gas, the pilot, and the water inlet, to lessen damage if it burst. Ehrhardt offered a price based on our descriptions and photos, of course with caveats for anything unexpected. A water-heater costs a pretty-penny, but less than we expected. A fair price. They came the next morning, and had the water heater replaced in 90min. Impressive. But the manufacturer sent a unit with a bad pilot! Ehrhardt returned immediately and in 30min, they figured it out. They had a replacement part over-nighted. The next morning, in 30min, done. Hot water. AAAAAHHH :-) The problem was the manufacturer’s fault, and Ehrhardt handled it flawlessly: Excellent communication by Ehrhardt, priority attention to our problem, no excuses, just fast resolution. Great service staff. Perfect! "

"After working with Dean's, I doubt I could be convinced to contract with a 'big' provider ever again - even if their price was half off! From the first contact, the owner was very clear, always available, and very easy to work with. My AC had gone out three times in a week (had BGE Home out each time). Lisa maneuvered the schedule to get us in 1.5 weeks earlier than planned. When I called the owner to let him know the AC was out, again, he said "I have a portable AC unit; I'm loading it into my truck and will be right over." This was at 9:00 at night! Everything was done to perfection - nothing is halfway or 'good enough' for Dean's - the wiring is even made to look photo-ready. There are absolutely no half measures, no "we don't do that" comments or messes left behind. I cannot give any higher praise than this...I am recommending Dean's to everyone I know, even my church. My only regret is that I have only found one other job for Dean's to perform; they are installing a bathroom light/vent where there is currently only a light. Dean's is the only choice for great people, providing great value, great work (guaranteed), and great service before, during, and after the job. The grew was great, came in and did a great job, took about 6 hours. "This was a last second thing. Our hot water heater died on us. Left him a message on Tuesday afternoon. He showed up first thing next morning. Right on time. Discussed the job and he gave me a estimate with a small window. And he said he could have me back with hot water in a few hours. Sure enough less then 3 hours later I’m back running. Very good and clean job. Very professional with all aspects of the job which was nice. Best part of it all when it’s time to pay his his price was barely over the low end of his estimate. Everyone else would most likely been barely under the top end of their estimate. So a very good clean job done as a rush for a good price."
