The owners of this company have personally moved me, 2 different Times within 2 months. They have also moved my mom and helped her with many extra things to assist her with her big move from Texas to Asheville. "We needed to have a tile floor in a bathroom that had stained grout (was put in during the 60's) and a bedroom that had stained carpet replaced with laminate flooring and shoe round included around the edge. This was especially hard in the bathroom where the walls are covered by tile, so the edging could not be nailed in the way they were in the bedroom. All looks great and is holding up well. Also, turned out the tiles that were popping up in the dining room had been put on using wall adhesive rather than the proper type of flooring adhesive needed. The guys were able to pop loose the tiles that needed to be replaced and grind off the old adhesive so they could be reused. I only had to get/use 4 new replacement tiles because they were successful in reusing every tile that was not broken before they arrived. They did a great job getting the grout to match and putting the 4 new tiles in an unobtrusive spot. Since these tiles had been put in during the 80's, we were not able to get matching tiles, so that really makes a big difference to us. Saved us a ton of money. I needed to separate a upper and lower level of a house to create a rental, and Handyman Xpress helped me find a simple, inexpensive way to make the current door work so that both halves of the house are private when the tenants choose, and they have access to both parts when the parties are in agreement. Love the convenience and flexibility. They also helped by cutting a ceiling tile to fit a closet ceiling that was missing it's ceiling. I had not scheduled that last part ahead of time, but they cheerfully added it to the to-do list and finished it quickly and it looks great."

"We hired them to stain our deck and our front patio and to pressure wash the house. Their price was very reasonable and Chad and team did a great job on staining the deck and patio. The house now looks so nice it almost sparkles. Not only that they were timely and the communicated very well during the work as well. We’ll definitely hire them again in the future."

The damaged subflooring replacement went quite well (an A Rating on this). The faucet installation was also okay, but the rest of our experience with Mr. Saunders was not very satisfactory. He frequently stopped work on our project to tend to other ones. That is not unusual up here, but I almost always had to call him before he would come back, which led to about two months of living with our furniture displaced. Another problem was that his assistant cracked the new light covering. Mr. Saunders did offer to replace it, but by that time there had been so many delays, I told him not to bother since it was not all that noticeable.



Mr. Saunders also lost professionalism points with me because he constantly complained about things, such as the amount of dust he found under the old carpeting and the number of staples used in the subflooring of our manufactured home.  Then after telling us we had to be extra careful about cleaning up the dust or the vinyl would not lay properly, he and his assistant did not remove the staples and did a sloppy job of leveling the subflooring before laying down the vinyl. Again, as with the light cover, I just decided to give up and get him out of our home.
