"We hired Sam's Hardwood Floors to refinish the hardwood floors and install quarter-round molding in our living room, dining room and entryway/main hallway. The wood flooring in these areas had been hidden under some retro shag carpeting when we bought our home, and they appeared worn, dull and out-dated. Allen stepped up and offered to do the job over the weekend. The house is nearly 100 years old and it looked like a previous owner tried to refinish the floors themselves and it showed. The rooms also have baseboard heat so it made the job a little more tricky. Allen was hoping that he'd be able to get a smooth finish and in the end, the floor looked 1000% better.
