"I purchased the replacement tiles and grout based on his recommendations. Andre was the only estimate that did not insist that I go far above and beyond the basics. He did mention that if he removed the tiles and the work was required it would need to be done, but it was almost as if the others were saying they needed to do much more than was required. When a question about changes to the estimate and scope of work came up, he consulted me, confirmed that he would insist on doing the job to code which required additional work and I agreed and accepted. Exactly what I expected. FAR less expensive than my other estimates. It looks great and matches perfectly with the existing shower tiles. Plus, I just flat out liked him. He is a very nice guy."

"Andre was very professional.  He arrived within the time frame specified, and called to notify us of his specific arrival time. I was charged with an additional $100 for a primer and $30 for travel fee, both fine print that I did not realize (the company is out of Tinley Park I believe)  I am still unsure about the finished product as it looks textured (after the second visit it no longer feels this way)  I had also wanted to have my tile surrounding the tub sprayed, but the cost compared to other re-finishers was at least double if not triple.  Beautiful Finishes quoted me the entire surround and tub for about 100 more. I wish I would have known the total cost for tub and tile beforehand, as well as the travel and primer costs.

"The experience was excellent. We called on a Monday and they were able to schedule us in for Thursday, and there was no emergency charge, etc. to come out same week. Joe (the owner) and his employee John were on time, called to say they were on the way, were both very professional, the work was done neatly & was cleaned up after, the repair itself was done very quickly, & they explained what they found and what was done to fix the problem. Joe also gave us the Angie’s List discount (even though I forgot to ask for it) and also provided us a very reasonable quote on some additional ceiling repair we needed done. They were able to give us a more cost effective alternative for the additional repairs we needed as opposed to going the expensive route; again without even being asked. We would recommend them highly to others and will be using this company again."

"After checking with a few companies I decided to go ahead with Great Lakes Refinishing.  Matt arrived on time and did a great job.  Everything was taped and cleaned up afterwards.  The ONLY negative is that I was told it would take 4-6 hours while it took 8.  But since I was in and out all day that was fine.  The tub looks fantastic!
