"We are extremely happy with the professionalism & work of Nick. We were impressed that when Nick & my husband had a misunderstanding about when Nick would arrive, Nick dropped what he was doing & came right to the house because that was the only day we had for installation of a new water heater. Also, it was a difficult install because of tight quarters & Nick did an excellent job, having to remove & replace piping to get the water heater in place. His quote included a water catch pan & water alarm, but because our water heater is in the utility room with a drain in the floor, Nick informed my husband that the catch pan & alarm weren't necessary & he deducted them from the bill. "Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
