"Do NOT recommend NoCo Accents. We hired them for basement framing, and the crew made a serious mistake by pushing our main waste line upward to make framing easier?something that could have caused major drainage issues if not caught. When I raised this, the owner said their framers are ?not professional plumbers? and were just following the blueprint, which is concerning. Basic common sense should prevent altering a main waste line, and it raises concerns about other homes having hidden issues. Not accounting for the waste line in the blueprint is also a major oversight. On top of that, we were charged an excessive disposal fee, yet the crew used my property as a dump, piling trash in the field instead of disposing of it properly. Between the poor planning, workmanship, and pricing, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere."

"Mike and Rob did a fantastic job of replacing some outdoor window trim on my house. As they had extra material, they also replaced some other window trim without charging me extra. They also recommended a qualified painter as my home needed repainted. Very happy with the results of their work and the painting"

"Brad (owner) was fantastic throughout the whole process. He walked us through every step and asked for feedback along the way. He did things promptly once he committed to a timeline and would communicate the reason if anything had to be delayed (which was usually on our part for changing something). The finished project is beautiful and could tell that he did things even better than if it was his own home. We get so many compliments on our basement and recommend him to everyone who even mentions needing a GC. I would get in with him quickly before the word gets out and people find out how awesome, thorough, and reasonably priced he is."

I have been in business over 34 years. I pride myself in doing excellent work at a reasonable price. I believe in communicating with my customers, having a friendly, honest, attitude and getting the work completed promptly. Please be aware that many service providers on Angie's List pay to get their company higher up on the list. I believe a company's reviews should determine where they appear on the list. I don't pay for preferential listing so my name appears lower on the list compared to other companies that have less favorable reviews. I work hard to get good reviews and I think my many reviews speak for themselves.

"The main reason for calling them was two jobs involving some height and difficult access -- reattaching a roof fascia that was coming off and creating a new interior window frame for a new skylight (turned out that the roofers who installed skylights did not do anything interior!). Both of these went quickly and well. As did a small job installing a valve in a shower line. However there were problems with the next item on the list (we felt we were committed to paying for an entire afternoon.) This was installing a new light fixture -- something we generally do ourselves if the location is accessible. Turned out the guy who came is afraid of electricity because he recently experienced a bad shock. Initially he wanted to turn off all the electricity in the house. Although we talked him out of that and worked with him to find the circuit breaker that turned off the appropriate circuit, it was in a dark hallway and we did not closely supervise the work. And he was in a hurry because they had told him he had to go on to pick up doors for another job the next day. Although he had been very careful to check every step of the way on every other job, he did not on this last one. And afterwards we found that this unusual fixture (two light track arms extending from a base) had been installed improperly so the arms could not be unfolded and extended. We had to take it down and reinstall it ourselves. We requested a small reduction in the charge, half of the time attributable to this job because we felt responsibility for the problem was shared, and that request was granted."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Timnath, CO

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
