"I would highly recommend Vision Construction as a company. Olti (technician) contacted me through my posting and came home for free estimate. For this job I got quotes from five different people. I was looking to repair a leaking skylight and after inspection everyone recommended to replace it. The difference between Olti and this company was their honesty and fair pricing. All of them were installing the same velux skylight but inflating the labor cost and also telling me that my roof needed repair. Olti was honest and showed with pics what was wrong, what needed replacement and what doesnâ t (without me asking or telling me what others had told me). I decided to hire him for the job. He got the materials ordered in few days and installed the skylight the following weekend. Super clean job and they cleaned up after their work as well."

"He was unable to make it to the first scheduled date, but I had no problem re-scheduling. He showed up right on time for the re-scheduled date and got the job done in a very professional manner. After careful consideration, I have decided to hire him to install a generator."

"Denise and John were very responsive to my inquiry, provided a reasonable ballpark estimate in advance of the actual work and then performed the work promptly and efficiently. Their initial rough estimate (site unseen) was lower than others and then John, being the awesome electrician that he is, performed the work for even less that I had budgeted. I am pleased and I highly recommend hiring this provider."

"Excellent! This company deserves all of five stars. During a home remodel Bennett’s Heating & Cooling was quick to respond, quote was fair and customer service was far above average. They have returned without hesitation to insure everything was working properly after the remodel finished."

"Mike was fantastic! The price for installation of recessed lighting was very fair. Mike took the time to go over what I wanted, gave me his feed back and was very professional. I was absolutely thrilled when the installation was complete. I would recommend A Shore Thing Electric to everyone I know. I would tell anyone looking to hire an electrician to call Mike first!!!!"

A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesToms River Electricians are rated 4.8 out of 5 based on 767 reviews of 767 pros.
