"Excellent skills, perfect ethics, creative mind, smooth communication, unbeatable pricing. What more can you ask for? Jose has become a very dear friend to our whole family. (Yes, even the kids! They love him too.) We’ll continue to work with him for all future home projects. (And yes, he can do all kinds of things. His scope is amazingly broad!)"

"Overall good experience. Worked directly with the General Contractor, he was able to work around my schedule and ensure that all subs completed their work to our standard the first time! Upfront pricing, honest and provided flexibility in price. For example, I wanted to have my own painter. Additionally I purchased my own vanity and shower. He provided just a labor quote. Iâ ve already recommended to two friends!"

"From the beginning of my project in January 2024, I have never regretted my decision to choose Ethos Building Group LLc. Jeh Johnson and his partner Tracy Herod have worked diligently to execute the itemized proposal that began this project to rehab, restore, and rebuild my home at 607 Wilmington ave. St. Louis MO 63111. An incredible number of tradesmen and tradeswomen have done their individual tasks all on a schedule professionally overseen by Jeh. These liscensed and masters of their trades worked alongside Jeh who if necessary stepped in and aided e these individuals. His overall expertise has brought my home to this point. One must keep in mind that a burnout like my home is an unusal job for Ethos Buildig Group LLc to accept. Yet at every stage my home has been given the same careful and thorough attention as their larger jobs. And despite some push back with my insurance company every thing has proceeded smoothly and orderly manner given the inevitable supply chain delays. Jeh Johnson is an affable young man who has facilitated all phases my prject and has even taken time to educate me on all the intricacies involved in a project such as mine. I cannot think of any single word to describe my experience with Ethos Building Group LLc but the forgoing will have to suffice. Thanks you for your kind attention. Stay safe and make a point of telling those who you find dear just what they mean to you."

"The primary job performed by Tekton was a roofing job, along with some other extraneous repairs and carpentry. This was an insurance settlement from the hail storms here in Missouri in May 2011. It took Tekton a while to get around to our job since the storm damage was so wide spread around the area, but quite a bit of the time between the storm and the completion of the work (May to October) was due to the insurance company. When he came out to inspect the roof, he put on a couple of quick temporary repairs to keep the roof from leaking before he ever got the job.

The work performed was outstanding and very professional. The entire roofing job was completed in just over a week, in spite of the weather (at least one morning he had to wait to get on the roof due to frost). In addition to the roof exterior, there was some internal damage to a roofing truss and this was repaired very nicely as well. Also, a screen door and door jam was damaged by wind and Tekton repaired this by removing the lower 18" of the jam and replacing it, blending it in with the remaining jam (this was a tricky repair to make look nice and he did a beautiful job). Other repairs included vinyl siding and gutters.

This was the second time Tekton had worked for us. He installed a wood stove for us and did a good job on that - of course that is why I contacted Tekton about my roof.

He is great to work with: He comes early and just works all day, and he GETS THE JOB DONE! In other words it doesn't just drag out for ever. We hardly knew he was there unless we went out to speak with him. He cleans up before he leaves, and was good about communicating with us (letting us know when he would be here, when he would be back, etc.). The quality of the work was very good - as good as any we have had done. We are very pleased."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Troy, MO

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
