He was going to grab a sandwich first, but decided he better come right away instead in case he needed something from the parts store before they close. Wow, that's service! He definitely knew what he was doing and had the necessary parts with him. He went above and beyond by shortening our exhaust tubing behind the dryer since the extra length can contribute to overheating. He gave me some brief safety advice (showed us where the water shut-offs were, recommended no one use washers and dryers while asleep or away), seeming genuinely concerned. He specializes in just washers and dryers, so he really knows his stuff. He works quickly but thoroughly. His business card says $15 service charge (that's low!) and 90-day guarantee, which he did let me know. I would absolutely use his service again and recommend him to friends."

They completed the job in less than one day and even hauled the old unit away. When the initial inspection of the unit was completed, the technician discussed all of the possibilities with the repair. He was honest with me and suggested replacing the unit and the furnace as well while he was there. I like that when he gave me the estimate, both the technician and I signed it. This was all at his suggestion, which I appreciated. Overall, it turned out very well.

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."

They lent me a few heaters to put in my kids' rooms overnight since the parts place had closed for the day by the time they knew what they needed.
