"A1 Grout and Tile is fantastic! Working with them was one of the best contractor experiences we ever had! The work that was done was amazing with outstanding attention to detail. Our outside tiled deck had numerous broken and loose tiles, and several large areas of interior tile needed refurbishing. When the work was done, these areas literally looked like new. They were great to work with. On-time, very polite, friendly, and they kept things very clean at all times. They had great suggestions during the job and were very responsive to all of our requests. Carlos came out to see our tile originally, and made us very comfortable with the work they would do. Wanda in the office did a great job coordinating the project and was easy to talk to. And CJ, who did the actual work at the house was absolutely terrific. Overall, we highly recommend A1 Grout and Tile."

"We had a shower pan that developed a leak and had to replace the whole master bath tile shower. Fil and Javier did a great job, I would definitely hire Rocca again. Fil is a true craftsman with tile, he takes his time and makes sure the project is done right. Beautiful work."

"Tim tiled my basement floors with slate tile in December 2022. He had to first remove tile that was installed incorrectly, which made the demo process more complicated. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. He even paused work to recommend a darker grout color from what I had chosen. His attention to detail led to a great outcome, and I have recommended him to friends and family."

"Mr. Hudson came out and gave me an estimate on the costs of getting everything done in my kitchen and entry way. He also gave me an estimate to get a stain out of the marble around my fireplace. The estimate in my opinion was very fair and he scheduled us in on his next open date. He arrived on time and called first to let me know he was on the way. He started right to work and cleaned the kitchen tile which included getting some old wax off of the floor that had discolored the tile. By the time he was through with that part the tile looked like new. He also filled in some grout that had come out over the years. He then colored and sealed the grout to make it look like new. The entry way was cleaned and buffed numerous times until it also shined. He was very meticulous and repeated the process until he was satisfied with the job. The fireplace marble was stained and etched and he hand sanded and buffed until it looked like the stain never occurred. Several times I thought he was through but he didn't quit until he thought it was right. Overall, I believe his work was beyond what I expected. I was so pleased I asked him back to clean and seal the tile and grout on a bathroom I had redone about a year ago. I highly recommend both his work ethic and his results."

"The service was very good. Saul was very professional and did a wonderful job. I was very pleased with the work they've done. I refer his company to friends and family. He answers all of the questions we asked. He was right to the point and punctual. We made the modification and he was very helpful in doing and the suggestions he made. I can't say enough extremely positively things with what he had done. My family admires the craftsmanship. He was here 5-10 minutes before the said time and I appreciate that. I found him very friendly and professional and dedicated with his work. He takes the pride of what he was doing."

FAQs for tile, stone, marble clean, grout, polish and maintain service projects in Tucker, GA

Use a stiff-bristle brush and warm, soapy water to loosen surface grime. Then, let the grout dry and finish with a grout-specific sealant. This combo cleans without scratching the tile and locks out new stains. Always follow the label directions so the cleaner and sealant bond properly. A few extra minutes of care keep grout bright and help your floors look fresher longer.

The most effective cleaner for badly stained grout is a professional-grade steam machine. High-pressure, high-heat vapor lifts embedded dirt without harsh chemicals and brightens grout lines in one pass. Pros often pre-treat tough spots with a mild solution and finish with a soft brush to protect the tile. The result is a deep, even clean that lasts longer than store-bought products.

Tile and grout are water-resistant, not waterproof. Dense materials like porcelain or glass shed moisture well, but even sealed natural stone and standard cement grout can absorb water over time. That’s why routine sealing and prompt spill cleanup matter.

Keeping moisture out prevents erosion, mold, and discoloration—especially in bathrooms, kitchens, and other splash-prone areas.

Schedule professional tile and grout cleaning every six to 12 months, with quick touch-ups in between. Busy kitchens and bathrooms often need attention on the shorter end of that range because constant moisture speeds up staining.

Sticking to this routine keeps grime from setting, reduces mold risk, and stretches the life of your tile and grout, saving you from bigger repairs later.

When done correctly, tile and grout cleaning is perfectly safe for your floors. Pros match cleaners and brushes to your tile type, control pressure, and avoid harsh chemicals that can etch or erode surfaces.

If you’re DIYing, test new products in an inconspicuous spot and follow label directions. The right technique removes buildup while protecting both the tile glaze and the grout lines.

Yes—apply a fresh sealer once the grout is completely dry, usually 24 hours after cleaning. The sealer forms a moisture-resistant barrier that blocks stains, mold, and everyday dirt, making future scrubbing easier. Skipping this step leaves porous grout exposed, which can lead to discoloration or cracks and, ultimately, expensive repairs. A quick reseal now protects both the grout and the surrounding tile.
