"I first employed Chuck 17 years ago for a major house remodel and expansion. That project went well and was completed on time. I have since hired Chuck for many other projects and have recommended him to others. He will also be doing another renovation for me this October 2017"

"Grant and his team did a great job.  Reece and Justin were the two who did the actual install/repair/re-installation of the flooring with Grant's oversight.  Grant was punctual with his timing on his estimate and the actual cost was what was agreed upon for the job. Reece and Justin did a terrific job with the actual installation and went above and beyond in many facets to make sure that the work was satisfactory based on our desires.  There were a few unexpected challenges during the job and rather than take the easy way out and just try to "make it work" they took the time to do it right the first time.  Justin and Reece's craftsmanship was top notch with regard to the installation of the laminate floor with good attention to detail so that the seams looked appropriate and the lines were straight.  Overall we are very pleased with the work and would recommend Good Hands to all of our friends and neighbors."

"Too early in the process to judge.  However, from three different contractors I selected Al and appreciate his responsiveness to my budget needs and his patience and input in dealing with the project planning phase.  We start construction Jan 6 and expect the project to last 4-6 weeks.  I'll give a final grade then"

"

Gary did a fantastic job for us.  We do not live in the area, he did a great job communicating the project status providing email updates, phone calls, pictures, etc...  The carpentry work he performed is top notch, with excellent attention to detail.  He is very thorough and contentious throughout the whole process.  He owned the entire project taking care of every odd and end as we were not there through the majority of the work.  Beyond the work he performed himself he contracted and oversaw a high quality team of sub contractors that included plumbing, electrical, flooring, water well, drywall, paint, and excavation.  He's been in the area for a long time and has a great network of high quality talent to bring the right team to the project.

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Two-buttes, CO

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
